Les Trois Arbres stands in the quiet rural hamlet Les Saurins, a 10 minute drive from Ste Foy la Grande and close to the river Dordogne. This beautiful property dates back to 1861 and recently restored (2007) to a very high standard maintains many original features such as high vaulted ceilings, original beams and stone walls. The property comprises three separate gites sleeping up to 16 plus 2 cots. Le Chene (sleeps 8) is bright and spacious. There are 5 comfortable bedrooms, sitting/dining room with log buner and an enormous kitchen with large table, dishwasher and washing machine. There are 4 modern bathrooms, some ensuite, plus 2 wc's. A covered terrace to the rear is accessed via patio doors in the hall.
Le Pin (sleeps 4) is a delightful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom gite. The master bedroom has a four poster bed, ensuite bathroom and feature fireplace. There are two single beds upstairs.
L'olivier sleeps 4 in a double and twin room and is all on one level. This gite has a dining room, sitting room with woodburning stove, bathroom with shower cubicle and bath and modern kitchen with fan assisted oven.
The fenced and pool has an electric safety cover and can be heated if required. It sits alongside a sunken eating area with table, chairs, umberella and BBQ for al fresco dining.
Fenced gardens with slide offer a safe playing area for children. The gites all have modern fitted kitchens. There are two washing machines and one tumble dryer.
There are a host of pretty villages with local markets to visit; Ste Foy la Grande (10min), Eymet (45mins) Duras (20 min), Bergerac (30 min) and stunning St Emillion (35 min). The famous weekly market at Ste Foy la Grande runs every Saturday morning.
