We have a new 46-inch flat screen LED TV with 200+ channels including 30 HD channels, Blue ray player, and Netflix with access to their online movies and TV shows.

The Dining Area-

is separate with a large rectangular table and six matching chairs.

features custom maple glazed cabinets, granite countertops, a large island with a slide in cooktop and counter seating for four, new stainless appliances, a full size washer and dryer, and a separate pantry for food storage.

VILLAMARE- is a top rated oceanfront resort noted for its beautiful grounds, lagoons, health club with indoor heated swimming pool, heated Jacuzzi, and steam sauna and extensive workout facility. These services and amenities are included at no cost. The outside pool is nestled around a 3-tier deck for sunning and viewing the ocean. Palm trees are around the deck to provide shade for anyone who forgot their umbrella. Next to the large pool is a heated Jacuzzi, toddler pool and a cabana. The outdoor pool is heated during the months of Oct, Nov, Mar, and Apr. A second beachfront deck area features a newly added grilling area with 4 built in grills.

PALMETTO DUNES- The resort is located in Palmetto Dunes (PD), Hilton Head Island, SC. USA (45 minutes from Savannah Airport). Great property...great location!

This condo had everything we could have wanted. The furnishings are lovely and the owners have essentially forgotten nothing to make the visit seamless and fun. My family (3 generations) felt like it was perfect for each person. The views are wonderful and the proximity to both beach and pool facilitated changing locales on a whim! I'd worried that it might be noisy but was quiet when the doors were closed. There was an occasional noise from the unit above but not disturbing. We would (and hope to) stay there again in a heartbeat!

Immediate Access to the Beach with Fantastic Condo, Perfect for Families

We loved our stay at this condo! The unit's description is not kidding when it says they are the closest to the beach in Villamare - it's a quick walk down one flight of stairs, and you are there! No one else is closer. For our family, which includes a 2-year old, this was crucial, as we were back and forth between the pool, ocean and condo each day, multiple times a day. The garage and parking is also just below that staircase, making storing our beach supplies away each day in our car, incredibly easy. The views from all of the porches were fabulous, as well, making all of our time inside, even that much better.

The decor of the unit was fresh and friendly, and comfortable! We gathered at the island, table and/or couches each day to rest, and then also each had our own rooms and spaces to retreat to when we needed it. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, dishes for a crowd and nice appliances. Amenities were great with full TV set-up with Hulu and DVDs, and games to pick from.

For our family of 3, the room with the 2 queen beds was generously sized and great for kids - especially with the lovely porch and oversized bathtub area. Our other family members liked their rooms a lot, and commented that the beds were very comfortable. Our 2 queen beds made a lot of noise every time someone turned over, maybe slightly older mattresses, or maybe it was the frames? Not the end of the world, by any means, however!

Complex-wise, the amenities of the complex were also very nice. The surrounding grounds were well maintained and felt very serene, and also private from the rest of HHI. The pool was active all day and into the evenings, but for the most part, folks observed Closing Time allowing for quiet evenings. We noticed that there is no handicap accessible area for the beach, which made getting beach carts to the beach a bit harder than other complexes, and we saw one guest in a beach wheelchair have trouble, too. We heard a few other guests commenting on it, so perhaps the Complex can adjust the stairs into ramps someday!

The owner, Stephen, helped us with all of our questions, and provided us with a lot of excellent information leading up to the stay, making everything extremely easy! We would definitely stay at this unit again in the future, and recommend it for those looking for beachfront stays!

Lovely condo with close access to pools and beach

Palmetto Dunes and Villamare Condos are the perfect vacation spot. This condo was beautifully decorated, close to the beach and pool. Positives were the quick response from the owner to our needs, condo cleanliness and comfort, lovely setting. Negatives were the beds were very hard and the unit is close to the stairs which made it very noisy being on the first floor. We also heard more partying noise being closer to the fire pit area and hot tub.

Owner's Response: We purchased 2 new mattresses shortly before Kelly arrived and unfortunately (in hindsight) made a mistake buying too firm of a mattress. Kelly called after the first night and said it was too firm. We ordered a plush pillow top topper the same day from Amazon and it arrived 2 days later. That solved the problem for her family and the mattress is now comfortable. We replaced the 2nd "too firm mattress" the following Saturday, so we no longer have mattresses that are too firm! We are very sorry Kelly had to deal with this and tried to resolve it as quickly as possible. Relative to the noise, this condo is 1st floor, but it is 8 feet off the ground, so essentially 2nd floor. Villamare has ground level under building parking. We seldom get comments about excessive noise. Most Villamare guests are very respectful about noise as there are many condos close to the hot tub, pool area, and fire pit area which would be affected. Again, we are very sorry Kelly and her family had to experience the noise and it certainly was not typical at Villamare.

Great Views and very convenient

This place worked out well for 5 adults,with three bedrooms and 3 baths. Very convenient to restaurants, stores, golf, and the beach. Only thing I would say was anything close to a negative was the fitness facility is in need of an upgrade and the hours are very limited. Thanks for a great week!!
