A fully equipped apartment with swimming pool and private beach access

This modern air conditioned first floor apartment is located in the exclusive gated Le Lido in Cagnes Sur Mer between Nice & Antibes in the sunny Riviera.

The apartment has use of a large pool perfect whether you are a serious swimmer or a sun worshiper. You will have private access to the beach at Cros de Cagnes.

The American style kitchen is a delight to cook in with all the equipment needed to prepare a superb evening meal for alfresco dining on the large south facing balcony which overlooks the pool & landscaped gardens of Le Lido. The gas BBQ enables the chef to be in the centre of your party on the leafy balcony.

The living area has two comfortable leather sofas & a wide screen HD TV with Bluray & DVD players to keep you entertained away from the sun in a cool air-conditioned environment. The two Sofas provide an additional two double beds if required.

You’ll be able to remain in touch with friends, family or work as necessary in the study area where there is a PC /Printer with MS Office – so you don’t need to lug your laptop through the Airport. There is also Wi-Fi Internet available throughout the apartment and balcony.

The master bedroom is tastefully furnished to provide a calm & relaxed atmosphere with its extra large double bed a welcome feature after a day sightseeing or sunbathing.

The bathroom provides both a full size bath perfect for relaxing in & an invigorating shower finished with towels warmed on the electric towel rail.

There is a separate WC with its own wash basin so ur other half there is no need to interrupt your other half from their relaxing bath.

The best

We have come back from a weeks stay at this apartment. Tha apartment was exactly as described providing a home from home! The booking was easy and we were provided with clear directions to the apartment as well as a useful introduction to the area by Frances on arrival and the details provided in the on-line manual. We eat out a couple of times and the Restaurants were great but eating in saved some money and was easy thanks to the good Kitchen. We will be returning again - hopefully soon. Thank you.

We have stayed in quite a few places around France, especially the west and the south coast, and always make a point of going to a different place every time, but this time the apartment and Cagnes Sur Mer ticked all our boxes,so we are going to book it again for next year, we normally use our car to get around but this holiday we used the buses and trains, the bus stops and Train Stn were only a short walk away, the apartment had everything we needed and more, Nicky met us when we got there and explained everything to us, she was so helpfull and a lovely girl, nothing was to much trouble for her, the only drawback was the Air con in the apartment it wasn't quite up to the job and we had to use the fan to try and keep it cool, but other than that we were very pleased and look forward to our stay there next year.

Modern, spacious apartment in well-maintained grounds

It is always a worry booking a property you haven’t seen or stayed in before as you never know whether the images or the description are up to date and accurate. From first checking in we were highly impressed with Nicky and the cleanliness and presentation of the apartment. It has a real feeling of space with a wonderful living area with TV, Radio, ability to use airplay, Wifi, and PC. From the lounge there is a large, spacious patio area overlooking the gardens, which were well manicured and immaculately presented. The BBQ was also a plus. The kitchen has all the equipment needed if you want to cater for yourselves, and again the crockery, glassware and utensils were very clean, modern, and plentiful. It was useful to have the washing machine to freshen up our pool towels, which Adrian, the owner, had hired us. The dishwasher too was great if needed. The bedroom was stylish and had a very large, comfortable bed with good wardrobe space and shelves/drawers. The sheets were crisp and clean and the bathroom towels appeared new. Security is excellent, with fob access to the main entrance to the apartments and double locks to the door of the apartment. Also key or fob access is required to access the entrance/exit to the complex and pool. The pool was just across the (very quiet) road from the apartment. It was like having our own private pool area, as on occasions we were the only people there, probably because it was low season. The pool and area around it are well maintained and regularly cleaned, and there were plenty of sunbeds from which to choose. The pebbled beach is a short walk away with a private underpass so that you don’t have to cross the busy road. We loved the little bar on the beach where we could relax by the sea or port. The bus to Nice or Cannes a short walk away (1 euro 50 wherever you travel to on route) so you don’t really need a car, but there is a car parking space underneath the apartment block which is very secure. If you are wanting a quiet, relaxing, holiday - or to make the short journey into Nice, Antibes or Juan les Pins for more action, this apartment is in the perfect spot. We certainly recommend it and shall book here again.

Beautiful Apartment in Fantastic Location

We stayed here from 19th to 26 September 2015. Lovely apartment fantastic situation and very quiet so sleep quality good. Greatly placed for restaurants and local shops and great access to train and bus stops. Nicky who looks after the apartment was brilliant arranging taxi transfers too and from the apartment and was there to meet us and show us around. The pool area is really good and when we were there had it almost to ourselves. We would strongly recommend this apartment to anyone and would certainly use it again .One thing I would say to anyone staying, the main restaurants are when you turn right from getting to the main road because you're right in the centre, but turn left and a have a five to ten minute stroll into the next village and try the restaurants around the harbour there. Absolutely beautiful.

Perfect retreat in the South of France

Lovely Apartment

On arrival at the Apartment there was an issue with the Air Con but after contacting Adrian (bearing in mind it was the weekend) it was sorted in 4 days (thank you Adrian)

The Apartment was first class everything you could ask for. There was a nice touch of a bottle of Rose' Wine and a large bottle of water in the fridge on arrival.

Shamim was very helpful, told us lots of useful information.

Lovely view of the pool from our balcony, pool was brilliant, lots of sunbeds but the only down side was there was no parasols.

Cagnes-ser-mer is lovely with plenty of restaurants along the seafront but the downside was the volume of heavy traffic constantly going past you while you are trying to eat. I would recommend instead of turning right at the seafront turn left towards the Old Port And St Laurent where there is lots of bars and restaurants with no traffic.

I would definitely return to this property, thank you again Adrian we had a great time.

Cros de Cagnes is a fishing / beach community located minutes away from the Nice Cote D'Azur International Airport. The beach front comprises of a wide palm lined promenade which stretches from the Hippodrome Race Course all the way through Cros de Cagnes ending at the Marina at St Laurent du Var. Cros de Cagnes & the Marina at St. Laurent du Var have numerous restaurants catering for all tastes from Michelin Stared Restaurants to fast food. Grilled fish often caught locally is a speciality. There are excellent transport links to Nice, Antibes & Cannes which are all just a few miles away. Nice is one of the cultural centres of France with the most Museums of any city in France outside of Paris. The Hippodrome at Cagnes Sur Mer is a horse racing lovers delight watching the races against a back drop of the Mediterranean Sea. If shopping is more your thing then the near by Cap 3000 offers all the shops that you could ever want & then there are the chic boutique shops of Antibes & Nice.

Other Activities: There is a sailing/diving school 'Société Nautique' down at the port. Evening horse racing at l' hippodrome in Jul/Aug & during the day at other times

Golf: With two century-old ancestors, the courses of Cannes-Mandelieu (1891) and Valescure (1895), this area has a golfing tradition that is hard to find anywhere else in France. Today the 27 courses (19 are open all year round) and 12 training centres make this area the perfect destination for a golfing Vacation. There is an excellent choice of courses an easy drive away. From beginners' lessons to a round on an internationally recognised golf course, you'll be able to enjoy your favourite sport in the very best conditions. The nearest course at Biot is just a 10 minute drive away. It is a relatively easy course but the back 9 holes are more challenging. Lessons are available in English as well as Golf Club Hire, etc. The Club House is particularly nice with a great Restaurant. Ski: The high altitudes and favourable weather conditions can make skiing possible right through to April. The areas first Ski Club 'Ski Club des Alpes Maritime' was formed in 1909. The largest resorts in the region are Isola 2000, Auron and Valberg/Beuil but there are many small resorts that offer competitively priced lift passes and are in easy reach for a day or weekend ski.

  • The main bathroom has plenty of space for towels, etc., including a heated towel rail. The full size bath is perfect for relaxing in and there is an invigorating shower above. The basin is set in a marble type stone with a large to the ceiling mirror. A hair dryer & hair straighteners are provided along with shower gel and liquid soap. The separate WC has a toilet and washbasin with a mirror above the basin. Luxurious towels are provided.
