Villa Dimitra is a luxurious contemporary style villa overlooking Vliha Bay and features a new ensuite to the master bedroom and new main bathroom (or ensuite to 2nd bedroom) for the 2017 season.
Owning a Greek property has always been our dream and we are delighted to be able to share this stunning villa with you. Imagine sitting on the terrace, cool drink in hand, looking across the infinity pool and out to sea, there is fresh fish cooking on the barbecue and the sun is shining, what could be better?
The villa is built to a very high specification and designed to accommodate 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, of which 2 have sea view balconies. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and there is also a family bathroom (or ensite to bedroom 2) and ground floor wc. The large open plan living space is stylish and comfortable, with an Italian leather sofa, black glass dining furniture, flat screen TV, DVD and CD player. There is also a well stocked open plan kitchen
The bedrooms and living room all have controlled air-conditioning for your comfort.
The infinity pool and large terrace offer stunning views of Vliha Bay and are well equipped to enjoy outdoor living.
We are sure you will love Villa Dimitra as much as we do and, as one of our recent visitors Cathy, confirmed below:
'Your villa is breathtaking and we had a lovely holiday there. It is so well appointed and tastefully decorated. You and your husband obviously have great artistic flair, which is evident throughout. The view is one of the most beautiful I have seen anywhere I have stayed. It was balm to my soul each day I gazed at it. I seldom return to places I have already been, but I would return to your gorgeous home in a flash! Hopefully I will some day and I will recommend it to my friends. Thanks for letting us enjoy your little bit of paradise.'
Location, location, location! We arrived late at night, so you can imagine how delighted we were when we opened the blinds the following day to see the view!
OK, our top spots:
Lindos - really quaint and all the restaurants you will need. 2 nice beaches too!
Caesars - roof top and excellent service & food
Ambrosia's - a really lovely fine dine in a relaxed atmosphere
(Both of these probably pricier than most tavernas, but worth it)
St Paul's Bay - other side of Lindos, a beautiful, quiet bay, great for snorkelling. If you want a sun bed which you need as no other place to go, then get there earlyish (around 10)!
Agathi - a really lovely beach, don't be put off by the dirt track, you get there eventually! Only 10/12km from villa and some nice cafe's right on beach
Waterpark - if you have children it's a great day out. It's in Faliraki so you could combine with a day out in another resort
We loved the villa, it is well stocked with all you need. The local supermarket at the end of the road is great and we were impressed with the meat selection.
Rhodes is beautiful. Get out and about, it really is worth it. Coming back each afternoon to the pool and view was just perfect for us and our teenagers. We will definitely return.
We rented this great villa for our honeymoon hideaway and couldn't have asked for more. Set on a small hill overlooking the bay, it was the perfect place to watch the world go by.
When we arrived, we were delighted. The description by the owners is accurate and honest. Our villa was spotless and had everything we needed.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Dimitri. The owners and management company have been very helpful and the whole process was stress free.
The majority of time we chose to eat at the villa as it was so nice and the supermarket is only 5 minutes walk. However, we did venture into the pretty town of Lindos ( a 5/10 min taxi/bus ride) on a few occasions enjoyed a couple of lovely meals. There are many great places to eat there and numerous bars.
We had booked this villa to enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday with a little added luxury. We weren't dissappointed.
We had a wonderful 10 stay in this gorgeous VIlla, it had everything we needed. The outside space was lovely with a great view of the bay and our girls loved the different colour pool lights at night.
The supermarket is very close by along with plenty of good local restaurants, our favourite was Konstantinos in nearby Kalathos.
The owner was easy to get hold of to answer any questions, he also very kindly posted something we had left at the villa back to the UK.
Really an impressing villa for the outsider, but inside there is only ONE REAL bathroom ( at the groundfloor there is only a WC), and this is real un confortable for six people! The A/C of the master bedroom is absolutely unsufficient ( we had to use also the fan all night long), the wifi is not present ( we tried to buy a prepayed SIM but two of them didn't work) , and the BBQ is really a very small and unstable grill where it's possibile to cook only two hamburgers at once.
However, the pool was really great, and Lindos is a very very nice place to stay!
This villa is beautiful with such wonderful views, the villa is great with everything you need. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing. There is a local supermarket thats stocks most items and you can walk there and is open late normally till 10.30pm, We would recommend a car. We enjoyed getting meat from supermarket and having BBQ but occasionally going out for a meal, restaurants down to the beach are nice and walkable(walk back up hill will burn off those calories) A short drive in to Lindos where there are some wonderful restaurants and shopping down the lanes is interesting.Pefkos which is much busier but not too outrageous you can have a nice meal here too. We went down to local beach where there is so much water fun things to do my boys went jet skiing they are 14 and 17yrs and could go out on their own. The water is amazing so clear and not packed at all.We went ko-karting in Lardos which is a 5-10min drive and that was great and stopped in the small town for a meal and to see such a mixture of people. Rhodes is sountouched and yet modernised you go to a town where it is so original but mixed with modern shops and reestaurants. It was such a relaxing holiday but you could do so much more if want a funpacked holiday.
Sometimes you can be a little disappointed when you step through the door of your villa and not be overjoyed with the location but on both accounts we were not disappointed. The villa is immaculate and we especially loved the outside space and the amazing views of the sea. The location is perfect with the local supermarket and wonderful cafe next door 5 mins away and Lindos 10 mins by car. Customer service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We feel the villa would appeal to all ages.
We had a great holiday in this villa. It is modern with a tasteful decor and furnishings. The pool is lovely and the views range from sea to mountain and are only slightly affected by the villa in front. There is plenty of space but 6 people might find the bathroom facilities a little cramped as the downstairs bathroom is rather small. Fixed shower heads would be good. There are loads of chairs and loungers making the outside seating excellent. It was all very clean and well maintained and we had good support from the management company in Rhodes.
The local supermarket was very good and within easy walking distance. We were particularly impressed with the meat counter. Eating out was also very good - Lindos having lots of good restaurants. We loved Caesar's. Taverna Edem on the way down to Tsambika beach is indeed a little Eden - delightful surroundings with great traditional Greek food and a welcome respite from the beach.
The villa is situated in an excellent position regarding the rest of the island if you want to explore. We particularly enjoyed the Butterfly Valley, Prasonisi, Tsambika (mountain and beach), Rhodes Town and the star of all was Lindos.
We would definitely recommend this villa and would hope to revisit in the future.
Villa Dimitra is located 7 minutes by bus or taxi, from Lindos Village, which is a World Heritage site, with whitewashed buildings and narrow cobble streets packed with traditional tavernas, restaurants, shops and bars, many of which are roof top with stunning views. Here you will find cash points, local butchers and bakers.
There is a large supermarket on the main coast road approximately 500m from the villa, which has fresh bread daily, a butchers counter. They stock almost everything you might need. Further along the road there is a small village called Kalathos with has a baker, a chemist and the nearest petrol station.
Villa Dimitra is a great base to explore the island of Rhodes, with secret coves, beaches, mountain villages and historic Rhodes Town with amazing shopping. There are golf courses, a water park, snorkelling adventures and trips to nearby islands.
Couples worldwide choose to marry in a picturesque beach side church in St. Paul's Bay, which is just 10 minutes drive from the villa. What better place to honeymoon than in a romantic villa.
