Premium ocean front suite on an upper floor. Completely renovated July 2015. All new furniture, fixtures and appliances. The kitchen and bathroom include new granite countertops and new cabinets. Large Travertine tiles throughout, as well as, new tiled shower walls. New posturepedic Queen mattress and a new queen sized posturepedic sleeper sofa. This suite sleeps 4 adults comfortably.

Large LED t.v. with free WIFI/internet. Printer/scanner/fax located in the suite. Washer and Dryer.

Weekly, Monthly and Long-Term renters welcome.

This unobstructed ocean front suite is located on a 65 acre private resort. Ideally located near the newly renovated (2015) Marina, Clubhouse/cafe, Private Beach, gazebo, boat ramp, and a newly renovated Jr. Olympic size pool and Hot Tub with a wet bar. Other activities include: lighted tennis courts, play ground, nature trail, kayak/canoe, Tiki Huts, outdoor grills and pier fishing.

Guest are welcome to bring their boat up to 28' in length. There are both Wet Slips and Trailer parking. Fee's do apply and may vary upon season. Insurance and Registration are required in the name of the guest staying at the resort. Reservations need to be made in advance with the Marina Manager at Ocean Pointe Suites directly. Please let us know if you would like to be provided you with the Marine Registration information.

The suite that you see in the pictures, will be the exact suite that you stay in. We do NOT bait and switch. Pool/Hot Tub newly renovated.

This newly renovated, non-smoking suite is in a perfect location. Travel south to explore all the Keys have to offer. Travel north, to enjoy the night life and/or shopping of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We are located in the heart of the 'Fishing and Scuba Diving Capitals of the World'.

You won't be caught in the typical 'Keys Traffic Jam". Ocean Pointe is situated just north of where OverSea's Highway opens up to (2) two lanes. No more being late for your flight.

What makes this condo unique

We do NOT charge daily WIFI/internet fee's that the resort typically charges upon arrival.

Guests are allowed to bring a boat up to 28' in length. There are both wet slips and parking for your trailer and boat. Those reservations must be make in advance with the Marina Manager. Insurance and Registration are required in the name of the guest staying at the resort. Please let us know if you would like the MarinaTrailer/Slip Information and Registration form forwarded to you.

A car is recommended. Tavernier is located immediately South of Key Largo, 'The Diving Capital of the World' and immediately North of Islamorada, 'The Scuba Diving Capital of the USA'. It is a straight shot out onto the open Atlantic Ocean, where you will find reefs and wrecks to snorkel, dive and fish. Enjoy John Pennekamp State Park, the National Marine Sanctuary, Everglades National Park, Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, Harry Harris Park, Theater of the Sea or swim with the dolphins, turtles, sting rays and sharks. All are just a short distance away. Take a day trip 90 miles south to Key West. Experience all that the southernmost USA city has to offer. Or just relax by the pool, stroll through the nature trail or snorkel and lay by the beach.

Clean, comfortable, great ocean view

Bedroom was a bit small. Queen bed with foot board made it difficult to find a space to store suitcases.

Swimming pool was a bit loud - so we spent our sun time at the beach.

Centrally located in the Keys

My husband and I chose to stay in Tavernier to be equidistant from the areas we wanted to visit - Key West and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. Tavernier is about 2 hours from both, which makes this location perfect to experience several areas of the Keys throughout your stay. The owners provided a great list of local favorites and all of the necessities for living, including extra cleaning supplies - which is so nice not to have to leave and purchase dish detergent, paper towels, etc., while on vacation. Other nice provisions were beach towels, beach chairs and everything needed to cook a full meal, including staple spices and oils.

Regarding other property features:

After visiting the on-premises bar/cafe, we determined it did not offer enough to be our go-to for an occasional meal (and often closes for private events without notice). The pool was a pleasant surprise. We visited the pool area - it was a hot spot and always had visitors, still with plenty of room to have your own space. We were a little disappointed with the property's private beach area. It was small and not good for swimming, just a small space for wading and some chairs for sunning. Most local beaches in Tavernier & nearby are similar. The plants on the ocean floor are too invasive for good water activity like snorkeling, swimming, or doing much beyond getting your feet wet. We didn't use the tennis courts, but enjoying thinking about it :)

Our favorite thing was: THE MATTRESS! made me sad to go home to my own bed.

Our suggestion/only criticism: Get comfortable being cozy. It's not a very spacious accommodation - only one person in the bathroom at a time, and a patio that is for little more than a peek at the water. I can't imagine four people actually staying here - but it worked just fine for us.

Oceanside at Ocean Point

Hello ! We visited this property in May of 2017. We live in the Rocky Mountains. We enjoyed exploring the area. The condo was very comfortable and included everything that we needed.

The pool was very nice and we enjoyed relaxing there each day. A nice area for families to congregate . The view on the back lanai was Beautiful. Our favorite restaurant was Marker 88 in Islamorada. The information provided by the owners was very helpful. We would highly recommend this condo. We were very happy with these accommodations.

Beautiful place to stay!

My husband and I stayed at Ocean Pointe at the beginning of April and had a wonderful time! The newly renovated condos are beautiful and the property as a whole was great! We will certainly be back!

A boat ramp, boat trailer parking and boat dockage for boat up to 28' are available thru the Marina Managers Office for a fee. Certifiacate of Insurance and Registration are required. Tavernier Creek Marina is only a few minutes away to fuel up and get stocked up for your day out on the water. Thru Tavernier Creek you can reach the Bayside. You may also reach the Bayside thru Adam's Cut. Sundries Shop is located inside the Marina Clubhouse for those last minute items.
