This is a lovely home that is full of personal touches and has a great energy to it. The house is very clean, and well equipped. It is in a great location, close to just about anything you want to do. We arrived to a sweet welcome with breakfast food in the refrigerator and fresh flowers on the table. The deck out back is amazing, very secluded with lush vegetation. My husband and I were in town to attend a family wedding and this was the perfect spot. The beds and sheets are really comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly!
Pictures don't do this bungalow justice! The front porch and back deck lure you to hang out, visit and enjoy on the comfy furniture and even a day bed on the back deck! Although we didn't cook much since we wanted to enjoy all the local restaurants, when we did we found everything we needed. The home is stocked with soaps, shampoos and most everything you would need for a short stay. A wonderful claw foot tub is in one of the bathrooms with everything you would need for a relaxing soak. While the master bathroom is small all the space was used well and the shower has given us inspiration of a redo on our home shower. I am very picky about towels and there were plenty stocked, nice, soft and fluffy. The living room sectional is perfect for napping and the dining room table was a great space to spread out and use the WiFi included to plan our day and check the weather.
Having never stayed in Asheville we weren't sure where we should stay. We are so happy we chose this bungalow in West Asheville! Right around the corner was a recommended restaurant for brunch. It's called Sunny Point Café and while we had to wait about an hour Sunday morning it was well worth the wait. In the courtyard they had entertainment while we waited for our table and they will also text you if you want to put your name in and go back to the bungalow. Also, around the corner is Oyster House Brewery. Great beer and the food looked good, we just didn't eat there. We did end each evening with a night cap there. Also, around the corner is a grocery store and my husband was really impressed with the local beer selection and I was impressed with grocery store overall. Venturing into downtown Asheville we would recommend Tupelo Honey restaurant and Wicked Weed brewery. We even squeezed in a Tourists game which was great fun.
You won't find a quicker to respond owner on any rental website. All questions were answered immediately. Chloe was great to rent from, from start to finish. We loved the combo lock on the door so we didn't have to carry around an extra key There was also informational paperwork we needed waiting on the dining room table, a thank you note, fresh flowers and the makings of breakfast and coffee!
Thanks again Chloe for sharing your wonderful home.
We had a wonderful time in this charming magical house. My wife loved soaking in the claw foot tub. Chloe left lots of interesting teas and organic coffee beans. There are lots of great restaurants nearby; we highly recommend the Sunny point cafe just down the street. It was a quick walk to the bus stop. Neighborhood was quiet and the house felt very private. We hope to stay again next time we are in Asheville.
We stayed here 12/29-1/3/2016. The house is very charming and comfortable. The owner has a knack for hospitality and made our stay feel like home. There were fresh flowers, robes, a table set for two. Simply lovely. The home is very roomy and has a magical oasis in the back yard. The location is within walking distance to everything in West Asheville. I could walk to yoga and breweries within a block of each other! Great restaurants are nearby as well - The Admiral is a favorite. We would definitely stay here again!!
