Beautiful well presented homes are my passion. I am an American woman, born in CT, educated at Boston College, & Middlebury College and am a former New Yorker. I moved to Italy 20+ years ago to study language, art, history, and culture & opted to stay. My husband is American as well, we decided to build our life together in Italy and it has been an ongoing adventure ever since!
Travel is another passion of ours & now that our kids are college bound we are able to let out our home in the center of Rome when we go on the road.
Italian homes are often of a completely different nature compared to American style living. The real estate market in Italy has been less developed when it comes to marketing properties for sale and rent, overall it is still quite undeveloped. In response to this need, I introduced the concept of "home staging" to the Italian public and launched my site in 2009
For many young architects and interior designers they are finding home staging to be a new source of business for their commercial activities and the great welcome home staging is receiving in the bel paese is testimony to the fact that the italian property market is slowly beginning to change.
I am passionate about helping people get their home staging businesses off the ground and am passionate about beautiful homes!
Come and enjoy the neighborhood of Monti in central Rome, this Best Location is where you can walk everywhere and experience the real Rome, from a real home.
Amy Lentini - Owner purchased this apartment in 2004
The open loft like feeling of spaciousness in our home is what makes our place so wonderful to come back to everyday. Rome Center can make you feel closed in with the tourists, traffic, busy streets and daily colorful life. Having a huge, bright and airy apartment with a breezy green terrace makes all the difference in the world. It is silent inside despite being on an important boulevard and the green field behind our building with orange trees, and palm trees really carries you away when you enter after a long day of touring.
We absolutely loved this place in Rome!! You cant beat the location and its decorated absolutely beautifully! About a five minute walk to the Colosseum and other ancient sights of Rome. We even walked back from the Vatican after our tour but we like walking. I can't imagine a better equipped or more beautiful apartment. Would love to go back!
5 of us spent a week there in great comfort. Amy the owner was incredibly easy to work with and her hospitality went above and beyond. Ditto all the reviews, and the Monti neighborhood is great. Daughter Isotta Page is also an educated, knowledgable tour guide www.isottapage.com, the perfect anecdote to the umbrella carrying tour guides all over Rome. Call me shallow but a tempurpedic bed, killer shower, large refrigerator and big screen HDTV is a welcome respite from hectic touring.
This apartment was perfect for our group of 5. Lovely accommodations and beautifully decorated, it was very hard to leave! The owner, Amy, was a wonderful host. She greeted us upon arrival to provide instructions for the apartment and the quaint wooden elevator in the building. She also left us lots of information on the many local attractions and restaurants. Amy made reservations for us at a wonderful nearby restaurant, arranged for taxis for our group and even helped coordinate the delivery and pick-up of a wheelchair for my husband. Our favorite spot was the peaceful and welcoming terrace. That's where we started our days with coffee and ended with a glass or two of wine.
Don't hesitate to book this apartment if your dates are available - you won't regret it. If we ever return to Rome, this is where we will plan to stay.
We can't say enough on how nice Amy's apartment was. She greeted us upon our arrival and showed us everything about the place. Amy also provided us with a whole bunch of info related to the area and restaurants.
Her apartment is bigger than online shows. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were modern and the living space was just beautiful. Her terrace was a great place to relax after a long day sight seeing. This was one of the best rentals we have used, as Amy's personal touches made the place special.
Thank you Amy and family for making our 4 day stay in Rome an incredible experience. The apartment was perfect for a family of 5. The screened terrace was my favorite spot in the whole city and wish I could drink my morning coffee out there every day!! The location was close to all the sights and there was a grocery store right downstairs. Since this was the last few days of our trip, it was nice to be able to cook and enjoy a bottle of wine at home. We also got to witness a parade from the balconies on Saturday morning coming down Cavour which was fun. You were amazing to work with and I hope to visit you again someday!
We had an amazing stay at this home in Rome. This house was spacious for our family, clean, had wonderful amenities, a beautiful screened terrace, a spacious living room and more. Truley a hidden gem in the city. Amy was fabulous to work with and assisted us with several items to enhance our stay. This worked great for our family traveling together with 5 adults and 2 small children. Easy access to sights, restaurants, grocery stores and more. I only wished we had stayed longer and would love to return one day! Thank you for opening your home to our family, we have wonderful memories of your home!
