We just returned from Winter Park this morning and I have to say that the overall experience was fantastic. The home is located in a fantastic area with easy car access to most of anything that you want. It is a REAL home...so you have to treat it as such, which was just fine with us. The pool isn't heated, but relaxing in one of the cabanas or on a sun chair was just as well. 30 ish minutes depending on traffic to the parks. The owner left us snacks and a bottle of wine which I thought was a nice gesture. More importantly you have direct contact with her once you book and I was pleasantly surprised by that. I forgot some of my shirts in the closet and she is sending them back to me. Absolutely top notch service. Book it!

Lovely Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

I booked this rental just days before we were planning to come down to FL to visit family and needed an alternate place to stay rather last minute. The property was very clean & well stocked with all essential pantry & household items. We definitely appreciated having fresh milk, cream & fruit available after our long travel down with a 4 year old.

We loved the pool! The backyard is very private with tall palms and tons of vegetation. The pool was nice and shaded as well. There are several shaded gathering areas for relaxing & we left a charcoal grill for other guests to enjoy.

I would recommend this rental to a small family or couple & would stay here again if the opportunity arose. Thanks Yvonna!

Lovely tropical private pool area

  • 4 of 5

This house is lovely and suited our needs perfectly. The tropical backyard with pool is beautiful and a wonderful place to relax in total privacy. Location is very convenient to restaurants, Whole Foods, etc. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is a fair amount of traffic noise and it's on flight pattern with planes coming into Orlando airport. We acclimated fairly quickly and would stay here again if back in the area. Very comfortable house - thoughtfully stocked - flowers, wine and snacks were a nice touch. Bed in master is extremely comfy.

Owner's Response: Hello Vicki, Thank you ever so much for your lovely review. I am so pleased you were able to acclimate to some of the traffic sounds. It would be challenging to have my house ensconced deeper in the neighbourhood and offer it for short term rentals. The location of my house seems to neutralize the situation to a degree. I look forward to the possibility of hosting to you again. Warm regards, Yvonna

Beautiful Winter Park Villa

  • 5 of 5

A stunning 2 bedroom villa close with a great swimming pool close to the centre of Winter Park. Excellent air conditioning, with all mod cons,

A very quiet area with a lovely private garden.

Winter Park is without doubt the most beautiful town in the Orlando area.

Its an old traditional American town with independent restaurants, bars and shops.

A safe quaint town with little traffic, 30 minutes away from the busy parks.

A lovely, quiet bungalow

  • 5 of 5

This home, located about a mile and a half from Rollins College and downtown Winter Park in a quiet residential neighborhood, is comfortable and beautifully maintained. Yvonna, our host, went well out of her way to make us feel welcome, and she was easily accessible by text/e-mail to solve minor problems—there were no major ones. It was a bit too cool outside to use the pool in late February, but it was lovely to sit by. We would unhesitatingly stay here again, and STRONGLY recommend that you do so as well if you're looking for a short-term vacation rental in Winter Park. (Note, if it matters: no microwave oven or toaster, but the convection toaster oven works perfectly and is convenient to use.)

Perfect for a Commencement Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here on a visit for our son's grad school graduation from UCF. We were there in December so enjoyed the deck but didn't swim. The house was ideally located to get to events at UCF and enjoy easy access to Winter Park. The neighborhood was goo for long morning walks. Yvonne had it stocked so nicely with snacks, wine ,waters and juice.
