Overview

About the property

Charming Studio diagonally across from Crowne Point Inn

Studio with comfy Queen bed extremely central location! Steps from Commercial Street, The hopping A-House, the yummy, casual Canteen, with leafy deck on which to take breakfast and garden access. This is UP STAIRS, and altho we are happy to accomodate your children and pets, (!) please consider their sure-footedness. . The Atlantic House is a rather musical neighbor until 2 am, so if you want to go to sleep early, this location may not be for you in the months of July and August :) Our cute open kitchen has coffee maker, ice crunching blender, toaster, one cup coffee maker, tea pot full size fridge. You will truly be right in the middle of things in Ptown.

About Eve

We are a New York couple thrilled to be starting to host with Home Away.

Eve purchased this apartment in 2014

Why Eve chose Cape Cod

We are so centrally located. Two minutes walk from Commercial Street.

What makes this apartment unique

When you arrive by ferry:

Walk to the end of MacMillan Pier, make a

LEFT onto Commercial Street

RIGHT on Masonic Place

LEFT at the top of the stairs and two doors up is a green house, number 87.

Michael R. will be waiting for you

The Stop and Shop is on Shank Painter Road. You can walk there going from Bradford to Court. Take our shopping cart.

Cabs in Ptown are $7. per person. The number for Cape Cab is on the wall in our desk alcove.... but all the cabs are the same and good.

The $2. shuttle leaves from near the Chamber of Commerce and will drop you at Herring Cove (beach with refreshments), Race Point (Beach with no refreshments) and the Provincetown Inn with the free pool and the perpetual party and the small bay beach which is wonderful. We cannot recommend a daily trip to the Ptown Inn Pool too highly.

Cheapest eats are at

The Mayflower

The Canteen

and RELISH all the way up Commercial actually has great sandwiches and grilled filets of fish for lunch but they sell out quickly. Also, nothing is exactly cheap..... the fried brussel sprouts at the Canteen are worth the 7.95 tho!

Definitely get your coffee for the morning at Stop and Shop. Joes is the coffee shop at which to see and be seen but it will set you back about four dollars a cup!

For entertainment you must see Ryan Landry's outrageous stuff. Show Girls at The Atlantic House,

Chris Francis at The Post Office is an insult comic and he is hilarious but really aggressive. Sit in the back if you don't want to be grilled about your sex life. That said, he is incredible. And its free. They have small plates on the menu and they really don't pressure you to order.

Spiritus Pizza has slices for a quick meal.

Fantastic Ptown Spot

  • 5 of 5

Matt and Eve's place is absolutely great. Located on the third level of the house, it comes with its own little deck that is perfect for enjoying the sunrise or set. Everything you would need is provided at the place. The location is also ideal, located steps away from A House and the Canteen. This is a must stay for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Ptown.

Cute place, close to everything, and no problems whatsoever!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon and loved it. The studio was lovely and the perfect size for the two of us. We were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to do. We weren't able to park at the house, but there was a reasonably priced lot across the street ($25 a day). The unit itself was cute, with art everywhere and a nice book collection. It's pretty small, but for us that's all we wanted. It had a fully functioning kitchen, but we only used the fridge, toaster, and coffee maker. I would probably recommend bringing some of your own cooking ware if you wanted to make full meals there, since the collection there is sparse. The bathroom was quite nice, and there's small outdoor deck on the unit too. All in all, we were very happy with our choice to stay here!

Twice the charm!

  • 5 of 5

Second year in a row staying at Eve's adorable studio. The hospitality is great and the studio is styled to get you in that PTown vibe/mood. Definately will book to stay there next year! (That's the plan). It's also perfectly located right in the middle of everything (walk one minute to The Canteen restaurant). Recommend it 120%

Comfy, Cozy Retreat on Bradford!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay. The place was cozy and the location is ideal! Just close enough but also far enough removed from the madness of Commercial Street.

Spiritus Pizza has slices for a quick relatively cheap meal. Also George's, but its more of a townie haunt.
