Why genevieve carbonatto chose Est
I love this property because it is close to Aix, but in a quiet surrounding and easy to get in and out of the city. I also love this property because it is very sunny and a large surface area for a 2 bedroom apartment. The lounge is very large and comfortable

Spacious, sunny, with parking
Highly recommended spacious apartment with sunny terrace. Location 20-25 minutes walk to city centre but number 6 bus departs frequently from opposite the bakery. There is a large well equipped kitchen so if you wanted to cook there is butcher just opposite and 200m to a bakery & supermarket.
If you are a cyclist, turn right out the gateway & soon you are into the country towards St Victoir.
Communications are prompt & Martine who met us explained everything clearly & was most helpful.
Glad we chose to stay here and would return if in the area again. The owner Genevieve was quick to respond to any queries we had during the booking process and was very pleasant to deal with throughout. Martine met us on arrival and was friendly and helpful showing us round and explaining how things worked. The apartment is as shown in the photographs. It is clean, bright and airy. It was lovely having the balcony to sit out on too. It is in a quiet residential area and is close enough to walk into the historic part of town or there is a good bus service , which was cheap and easy to use, a few minutes walk away. We had our own car with us and it was a bonus to know we had free safe parking. We enjoyed sightseeing in this lovely region.
Beautifully appointed apartment with a spectacular view of the mountain and surrounding countryside!
We stayed for 2 weeks - Martine was at the apartment to meet us - such a special lady. No English of course, but she has a Translation App on her phone which worked for us. Very tastefully furnished with loaded bookshelves (we read a couple of novels and left one of our own behind). TV with DVDs. Kitchen almost two well equipped with loads of dishes, pots and pans, modern washer/dryer, (don't use the dryer it takes too long even with a small load), dishwasher (we didn't use this), large fridge and stove. We did use the clothes line on the balcony off the kitchen where the wind dries clothes quite efficiently. The butcher shop is just opposite the complex; the bakery with a huge selection of pastries is near the supermarket, minutes away. The fishmonger with a huge selection of all type of fish is there on a Thursday and the veggie guy comes there three to four times per week. So the kitchen was well used...! One of the highlights for us was to sit on the balcony each evening with our glass of wine and just admire the view - very peaceful! As for the rest of the apartment - there is a separate toilet; bathroom with bidet, basin and bath; separate rainfall shower area - very relaxing. Two bedrooms - great automatic window shades - very comfortable beds. However, the one thing which was unusual to us was the lack of closets? There are none, except for a hall cupboard with metal doors; the rail of which is low so don't bring your ballgowns! (A couple of IKEA style closets in each bedroom would have sorted that out and not used up much space)? Despite that we loved staying at this apartment and will plan to return! And by the way it's a 30+ minute walk to the center of AIX so we usually drove, parked in one of the many underground car parks there. It's a large, very modern complex so look for the Letter E over the glass doors. There's a walkway approximately across from the butcher shop on the road outside, so the apartment is in line with that. We had found it a bit difficult to find. And as it's on the second floor there is an elevator so no problems with the cases! Don't miss visiting Cezannes Atelier while you're there and of course my favorite thing - the Markets - especially the one at the weekend - enjoy!
Great location, easy parking, quiet, very clean and comfortable - will come again
The appartement is 15 minutes walking distance from the centre of Aix. The markets at this time of the year were incredible with fruit and vegetables including strawberries, cherries, abricots galore and fantastic cheeses and olives. Great shopping in Aix! Great location to explore the region, les calanques and Marseille, Cassis and Avignon
Well located apartment Aix en Provence
My friend and I stayed two weeks. It was ideal for us as it was just a short walk to the old town centre, or if we didn't want to walk, the bus stop was right outside the apartment complex. The apartment is spacious, quiet, well equipped, and very clean. It's the kind of apartment that would be used as a permanent home, (as are most of the apartments in the complex as far as I could see). The owner's manager met us on arrival, gave us the keys, showed us around the apartment, and was very helpful. We cooked our own meals and found that anything we needed to buy was within a 5 min walk - the boulanger, the supermarket, and the cheese, fresh produce, and fish stalls which set up across the road several times a week. We didn't hire a car and so got around on local buses which were easy to use. We enjoyed visiting all the key sites relating to the artist Cezanne, our day trip on the local bus to the historic town of Arles, and generally pottering about the old town. The apartment was a lovely relaxing place to stay while visiting such an interesting town.
Stunning base for a stunning area
A magnificent, quiet apartment with gorgeous Cezanesque views from the living room and verandah, I can't imagine a better base for the the wonderful city of Aix and the surrounds of Provence.
The apartment is cool, clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was able to give justice to all the magnificent Provencal produce on offer at the daily Aix markets. If fact many days of the week the markets come local with fruit and veg, fish and cheese mongers setting up their morning stalls only 100 metres away. Along with the local baker and a full service supermarket only 5 minutes walk, this is a self contained foodie heaven.
It was great to be out of the central hustle of Aix, but have all of it only 15 minutes walk away. Parking is readily available (a priceless commodity in France) There are endless possibilities for day trips out of Aix, but the apartment is very secure and can easily be locked and shuttered if you fancy an overnight stay somewhere else during your visit. The owner's agent Mounia was very helpful and arrival and departure were seamless.
The 2 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the added bonus of a sofa bed is perfect for children or a drop in visitor. The house has fantastic views from all windows and great ventilation that makes for a very comfortable stay.
This place looks and feels like a family home, and the place oozes family, love of the country and it's bounty of food and wine. I'll be back.
