Miss this cabin already!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 4-night stay. The cabin was beautiful, like the pictures show. Patio furniture in the garage came in handy. You really don't need to pack anything except clothes when staying at this cabin. There was even firewood for us to use, which was very nice. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the front porch. It is so quiet and secluded, which we saw as a real positive, but some may not enjoy the 15-minute drive on gravel roads to get into the town of Custer. It's such a gorgeous cabin & property, so the drive is totally worthwhile. No wi-fi, and very little, if any, cell reception on the property. There wasn't a landline either. We hope to visit again, and I will recommend this cabin to anyone traveling to Custer.

Beautiful cabin in serene setting

  • 5 of 5

My family spent 3 nights in this wonderful cabin. It's very cozy and has a warm feel throughout. The finishings inside are really nice, the location is peaceful and private and its fairly easy to get to the many local attractions. Its located about 15 minutes off of the paved roads so give your self time to get to where ever you are going. There is so much to do in the area and are a lot of great local restaurants but make sure to take one night to stay around the cabin and enjoy a nice night there (check out the stars at night, simply amazing). It's worth it. My only tip, if you're new to the area, is to make sure to have your directions preset in your phone or other device because there is no cell service around or WiFi at the cabin, so you'll need to get an idea where you're going before you head out. Other wise, great cabin, very well kept, very clean, cozy. Just what you're looking for in a vacation rental.

Beautiful and Private Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a great stay at this cabin. The house is finished beautifully in a private wooded area. We loved that we were close to Custer and all of the attractions but at the end of a busy day we could escape back to the solitude. We especially enjoyed our quiet mornings on the porch watching all of the wild life.

Its a bit off of the beaten path but totally worth the trip!

Great getaway away from it all!

  • 4 of 5

If you want to truly get away from it all, then this is the place for you. It is in a very private and very beautiful setting. It is very peaceful and quiet. The house is new and beautiful. The cabinets were pretty stocked which is good if you forgot to pack something or needed an ingredient in something you were cooking. We had some popcorn, watched some movies, and played some of the games that were provided there. We were not able to use the fire pit while we were there because of the risk of fire at the time. We did use the grill. This place is very nice. It was a little too "away from it all" for me though. It is fifteen minutes on gravel to get to the highway and about 10 minutes to town after that. No wifi. We couldn't even get cell phone service out there which made me a little uncomfortable. Aside from that, it is a great place to spend time with family. We had a great time!
