About Angie Lindberg

As a Pa family, we wanted a vacation destination where we could escape to the mountains. We love spending time in nature and getting away from the daily grind. In Blue Ridge, we put on our hiking boots, hit the trails, and look for wildlife. The whole family loves nothing more than seeing a doe and fawn in the woods. When we're there, we notice how the mountain air is intoxicating and just how clear the night sky is with all its twinkling stars. It's a truly stellar getaway!

Why Angie Lindberg chose North Georgia Mountains

Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway checked many boxes off our checklist. For one, it is near the national forest, which is not far from downtown Blue Ridge. Secondly, waterfalls and trails, including the start of the Appalachian Trail, are in the vicinity. Thirdly, the cabin is located in a beautiful mountain area where we can drive easily--no steep inclines. Lastly, it is just the perfect size cabin for our family.

What makes this cabin unique

We love that our cabin is unique as it is built with real logs and chink. The fireplace definitely gives it a special charm as well. Mostly though, we like that it's a cozy place of serenity with all the modern features of a home.

We loved sitting on the porch, we actually spent most of our time there. It was a perfect getaway for our busy life!!! We hope to go again soon.

Peaceful and beautiful!

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful cabin stocked with everything you could possibly need. I forgot shampoo, but the owners even had that. The screened porch was so relaxing. Very comfortable beds! No cell service, but that's fine, as we went to spend time with each other. We couldn't find the place where we were to take our trash, so we ended up taking it all the way back home.

As described

Very clean and a nice location. The only criticism is that we had to take our trash with us and the recommended trash disposal was about 15 minutes away and closed on Sundays (a day I assume many guests leave).

Owner's Response: Thank you for your input. We will look into other options regarding trash. We ask that it be removed to deter insects and outside animals from the cabin. Otherwise we hope you enjoyed your time there.

Just as the pictures show - perfect weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is immaculate with all the comforts of home. The owners have thought of all the details, many of which have been missing in more expensive rentals. We will most definitely be back.

Very clean, well equipped

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely quiet stay at the cabin. Great place for couple escaping city to just relax. Folks at Vanzandt's were very friendly and was good close by place for breakfast with a view. Fantastic fried trout at Toccoa Riverside restaurant but parking was tricky. Enjoyed morning coffee on the cabin's screened porch. Nice info book in cabin with maps, etc. Overall, very nice stay-thanks!

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was tucked away nicely in the mountains but not difficult to get to. Everything we needed was provided and the decor was lovely. We enjoyed some trout fishing, water falls, and the swinging bridge over the river. It's obvious that the hosts want you to have the best time possible, and we did! Thank you Ray and Angie, we will be back!
