Charming Coastal Cottage - walk to Craigville Beach

Cozy, immaculate updated 4 season vacation cottage in Centerville Village, in a very quiet neighborhood, just a 15 minute walk to Craigville Beach. Three bedrooms, one queen, one full, two twins, ceiling fans in each bedroom. All hardwood floors, renovated throughout. Home is exceptionally clean, well equipped and decorated with a beach cottage flair. Perfect for long term summer rental or weekly rental. Screened porch includes comfortable wicker furniture for relaxing after a day at the beach. Landlord beach pass allows access to all Barnstable beaches. Shower off the beach sand in the outdoor shower and enjoy a barbecue on the brick patio with lovely wooded views to an old cranberry bog. A gas grill and fire pit are on the patio. Four Seas ice cream is a 5 minute stroll as are the library, 1856 Country Store and children's playground. Hyannis is home to many restaurants, nightlife, and ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, museums, and more, all within a ten minute drive. We are a family friendly cottage, with a high chair and pack & play available upon request. Cottage is also well suited for retirees and "girls get-away". Linens are provided, beach chairs and washer/dryer in the basement. Craigville Beach is one of the best family beaches on the Cape. Located on beautiful Nantucket Sound, with warm water, snack bars, bath house and lifeguards. We are just 3 miles from the Cape Cod Melody Tent, a premier summer concert venue. While most summer guests come for sun, sea, and sand, the Cape offers attractions, activities and fun beyond the beach.

Perfect base for a family beach vacation!

This cottage was exactly as described! Located on a beautiful quiet street within walking distance to Craigville Beach and well appointed with everything a family could need on a beach vacation - including plentiful linens, beach equipment and a much appreciated beach pass . We travelled to the Cape with two kids and my parents, and there was enough room for everyone to spread out comfortably after a day out. The house was absolutely spotless upon arrival and the check-in process was flawless. The outdoor shower was also a huge bonus -- a favourite of mine for a beach vacation esp. travelling with kids. So easy to rinse all the sand off without making a mess. The cottage was cozy and inviting with plenty of parking and outdoor space. We esp. loved the 5 min walk to the general store -- great for local souvenirs for the adults as well as a HUGE toy/candy section which my 9-year old adored. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay -- easy, comfortable and cozy -- a true home away from home!

Perfect family holiday

The house has everything You need for a perfect family holiday. The owners are very helpfull and friendly and it was nice meeting them. We and our 3 kids had a wonderfull week at the Cape. We liked the quiet neighborhood, making trips and spending time together at the beach! Thank You so much, hope to visit You again!

Centerville Stay

Excellent property with everything you need! The neighborhood was quiet and the outdoor shower was my kids’ favorite. Bev was a great property manager! The only feedback is that the beach was more like 15 minutes away but the beach pass for the car made it simple! Definitely recommend this property!

Delightful Stay!

My husband and I, our two children (ages 4 and 1), and my parents recently vacationed at the cottage, and it was a delightful stay! We felt right at home from the time of our arrival with a lovely welcome note from Bev and Tom and with their gift of a local, favorite ice cream treat waiting for us in the freezer. The home was not only cozy, clean, and fully stocked with everything you’d need like extra bed sheets, towels, and cleaning supplies, but Bev and Tom provided lists of things to do and local eats to explore, which helped us properly plan our week. Bev was also incredibly helpful prior to our trip, promptly answering my questions to help us prepare for our stay. Whether via email or text, Bev was available and responsive. The cottage is located in a peaceful neighborhood that’s in walking distance to the beach, country store, town playground, and ice cream shop — perfect for our young family. We ventured to these locations and enjoyed walks throughout the neighborhood. We’d highly recommend this cottage and are incredibly thankful to Bev and Tom for a lovely, comfortable stay.
