Beachfront living awaits you at our condo at Hibiscus 203-B! From the big deck overlooking tropical landscaping and the white sands of St. Augustine Beach, you can just feel your workaday cares melt away. You're in paradise, with nothing to do but enjoy!
Hibiscus Condominium Resort is a small complex on the sugary white shores of the beach, with 3 swimming pools, a clubhouse offering a fitness center and party room, 2 Jacuzzis, grills, and even a tennis court. Beautifully landscaped, it's tucked into a quiet corner of the coast that will make you feel as though you've escaped the crowds and noise, even though you're just minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine!
Our condo is light, breezy, and designed for long lazy days and relaxing evenings. Whether your vacation style is lounging on the beach, playing golf, shopping and dining, or visiting attractions, you'll find Hibiscus 203-B a joy to return home to each night. There's plenty of space, all the latest technology (from our new HDTV and DVD player to free wireless Internet to the quiet washer and dryer that are going to keep all those swimsuits and travel clothes clean and fresh!), and sheer comfort that makes you feel at home . . . only better!
The deck is wide and breezy, with casual seating and terrific views. Slip outside first thing in the morning and see if you can catch the last rays of dawn above the horizon. Sit with a cup of coffee, inhale the rich salt air, and listen to the murmur of the surf. Now this is living!
The living and dining areas are open-plan, so the whole group can stay together. Our living room is very cozy, with plenty of floor space for the kids to spread out their toys as their parents watch a movie on the big screen TV. Lower the lighting a bit to create a soft glow from the lamps (and with any luck, get the kids feeling sleepy!). Or, if it's family night, break out Pictionary at the dining room table, put on some good music, and settle in for an evening "at home"!
The dining room table may just become the center of operations here at Hibiscus 203-B. It gets slighted when it comes to meals (who can resist dining on the deck?!), so turn it into your computer table, use it to spread out maps and plan the next day's adventures, or make it the buffet table for pick-up meals and snacks. The kitchen's within easy reach, boasting all the appliances, dishes, and cookware you need to whip up tasty snacks and frosty drinks. Keep the fun coming without spending a fortune!
The cool tiled floors at Hibiscus 203-B feel good on the feet, silent air conditioning and ceiling fans instantly cool you when you come in from a day in the sun, and everything here is spotlessly maintained. You'll find all the towels, linens, blankets, and pillows you need waiting for you, plus full-size kitchen appliances and all the modern timesavers you want to get you out of the kitchen and back in the action even faster. Once you've stayed at our condo, you'll never want to vacation in a hotel room again!
Even more important than comfortable living spaces and a well-appointed kitchen are the bedrooms, because getting a good night's sleep can sometimes be the best part of the vacation! That's why you'll love the accommodations at Hibiscus 203-B. We have two quiet bedrooms, plus a couch in the living room that unfolds into a bed for two!
The master suite is a dreamy retreat with a king-sized bed (heaven!), ocean views, and a sense of calm that will guarantee you peaceful nights and late mornings. The bathroom contains both a shower and bathtub option, and means you don't have to leave the privacy of your suite until you're ready. Leave the drapes open one night and catch the sunrise from your bed!
The second bedroom sleeps 3 very comfortably in one double and one twin bed, and is convenient to the second full bathroom at Hibiscus 203-B. (We also have a half-bath.) Everyone will awaken refreshed and ready for another day of fun!
Please come stay at Hibiscus 203-B the next time you visit St. Augustine.
Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
We have vacationed in the area before and love it. This unit was musty smelling from the moment we walked into it. We were able to air it out over the course of a couple days. The unit was nicely furnished with the couch, chairs, and beds comfortable. The check in/out process was easy and convenient.
Much to far from everything. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
The access to the beach was impossible.
Condo was nice, beach access could have been better. The rocks on the beach are challenging when accessing the beach. Condo could have been more clean inside and outside.
We really enjoyed the area and views offered by Surf Club 1. The condos were not crowded and noisy (as many are)and easy to access. Big win for the complex. The access to pools and beach are excellent. The area is not commercialized and does have Publix only 3 miles away. There are wide sidewalks for walking and biking for just outside complex for those interested.
As noted by one other the rocks (Coquina)does require one to cross over to access beach. However, we found several locations that were more like stairs and not an issue. Actually we enjoyed the character the rocks added and used to our advantage.
The reason for 3 stars on the general condition is the master bedroom bed. The review says it is a new pillow top mattress. It is not. The mattress is very firm and did leave my wife and I a little stiff in the mornings. I would also suggest the owners change the blinds to darkening blinds in master bedroom to help with the morning sun.
Over all we loved the unit and would go back to the same complex when looking for a family vacation.
I was disappointed because of the lack of children and pool not being heated. There was not much for kids to do. We never did see the property manager only the maintenance guy. It was too bad you had to lock yourself in and out of the pool area. Why are things so locked up?
My wife and I needed a getaway due to many circumstances. We enjoyed the palm coast area very much. Seemed like a beach vacation and a old florida jungle vacation. The hiking paths available were wonderful and the beach was beautiful. Very close to many restaurants and sites. JT's Seafood Shack was a local great place to eat and drink. Many locals go here. Overall we would give this place an A+!!!!!
