Listing description was more than accurate, actually exceeded our expectations! Fully stocked linen closet, clean towels, extra pillows/blankets, not to mention bottled water, snacks, fresh fruit and a wide array of different teas were there, who does that?? I know who, the best hosts Jeff and Dannielle. It's all about the details and they nailed it. Property was very clean and immaculate with nice back lawn, flowers lining the walkways and also inside the house, gave a fresh clean smell and appearance. Access to the our own patio and hammock was great, relaxing. Very spacious, surprised us. Big bathroom/shower was a plus. 100x better than staying at a hotel. Jeff and Dannielle were super friendly and accommodating, even provided us a packet to keep of brochures of things to see/eat in the area. Less than 10 min drive to downtown Thames Street. Close walk to Cliff Walk and Easton Beach, 1.3 miles to be exact. If walking there, would recommend going through J Paul Braga Jr Memorial Field which leads to a manmade walkway built around/alongside Easton Pond, it was extremely scenic (thanks for the tip Jeff!). Place was nice and quiet, away from the busy noisy main area of Newport but close enough to go back/forth. Would definitely recommend. Hope to stay here again on our next visit to Newport.

A wonderful place to stay!

Our stay was great! It started off with hosts, Danielle and Jeff, there to greet us as we pulled into the driveway.

My husband uses a wheelchair, so, finding a rental that is wheelchair accessible is not easy. When I searched VRBO and saw this attractive wheelchair accessible apartment with a ramp, I knew it was the one for us.

On entering the apartment Jeff noticed that the bush next to the ramp was a little too wide for the wheelchair, so the next morning we found that he had trimmed it. He also made a couple of adjustments to the ramp. This was “above and beyond” anything we could have expected.

Inside this spotless apartment Danielle's talent for decorating made us feel at home. There were cut flowers, from their garden, on the table, a selection of teas, coffees and snacks on the counter, a fridge stocked with water, milk, juice and condiments, and plenty of linens for our week long stay.

This 400 sq. foot, apartment felt very spacious. Next to the eat-in kitchen was a large room that included a sitting area and bedroom, as well as the entrance to the generous size bathroom with a large shower, with hand rails.

Also, from this room is a sliding glass door to a deck, overlooking the beautiful garden, with a grill and an umbrella table with seating for four, and a roll-out awning. A perfect place to relax and read.

This rental is in a quiet residential neighborhood, about a mile and a half from Easton's Beach and the start of the Cliff Walk. Newport’s popular Thames Street, lined with restaurants and shops is less than two miles away.

It was wonderful staying in this cozy apartment, owned by such an attentive and caring couple. If you are looking for a pretty and quiet place to stay close to the Newport tourist attractions, we recommend this rental.

Fantastic Property & Great Hospitality!

We absolutely loved our stay with Dannielle and Jeff in their apartment suite. The back porch is a great place to kick back, with lots of wonderful flowers and garden to enjoy. The location is very convenient to all of Newport and we easily navigated our way to the Newport Winder, Newport Folk Fest at Fort Adams, the Wharf, The Breakers & Cliff Walk to name a few. We look forward to returning in the future and this place will be on the top our list -- Thanks!! -Ben & Jamie 07/2017

Wonderfully cozy place

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts Dannielle and Jeff were very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for places to visit. We took advantage of the snacks but unfortunately did not find the time to relax in the very well kept back yard. The place was far enough from the tourist throngs downtown to enjoy the peace and quiet. Everything was a quick Lyft ride away.

Wonderful

The hosts are delightful people... very friendly. Made excellent recommendations of things to do, places to eat, etc.

The studio was cozy and comfortable, opening to a back-yard and deck that was great. Short drive to Rhode Island attractions.

Hosts provided food basics (milk, cereal, etc.), which was nice, and they even left us a bottle of wine for our anniversary.

Clean, quiet comfort

This apartment was perfect for our weekend away. Danielle and Jeff were so hospitable and had every detail covered from fresh flowers to snacks and waters, fully stocked kitchen and toiletries. Close to the beach and only a $5 uber to downtown Newport. We will definitely be back!
