Centrally located, you're just a block away from the Montauk Harbor, with terrific restaurants, bars, shopping and fishing charters. From the house, you can walk and see the incredible sunsets at the private beach on the Long Island Sound, just a few minutes by foot. There are also nearby farm stands, parks, hiking trails, tennis courts, golfing and all the other cultural and social attractions of the East End of Long Island.
The house is just a mile and a half to the Long Island Rail Road train station, and only five minutes to the heart of Montauk for shopping/dining, the Jitney, and of course ocean beaches! Having a car is recommended but not necessary, as there is a nearby bus route that covers most of the area, and taxis are always available as well. Town of East Hampton Rental Registration: 16-12
**NOTE: The pool is open from the end of April through early October. The hot tub is open early April through the beginning of November. Both of these dates are of course weather dependent.***

Montauk is one of the most incredible places - and it's hard to do it justice in this short description. From the amazing ocean beaches, terrific shopping and dining, and incredible sightseeing, Montauk truly has something for everyone. Owning a small part of it was always a dream. This house is nothing but a labor of love and hope everyone who comes has a great experience!
The proximity to the very harbor area is awesome, and the neighborhood is very cool and beachy. Being just minutes to the action in downtown is also great.
We were three families staying here over a long weekend, and we absolutely loved it. The owner is super helpful and friendly and even left us a lovely bottle of wine for when we arrived after a long journey. The house is fabulous, very spacious, lots of bunk beds for kids. The beds were comfortable, linen was clean, plenty of hot water. Kitchen has everything you could need, the house is decorated nicely. The pool and hot tub are fantastic, would love to come back in the summer to enjoy them even more. The location is great, with many restaurants just a stone throw away as well as beautiful beaches. We loved everything about it and will definitely come back. Highly recommend this place!
I rented this property for a girls weekend and was very impressed by all of the amenities! The property is great. The location superb. But the best part is the pool and backyard area where you will be sure to spend most of your time.
The house is within walking distance to Montauk's Harbor area, by Gosman's Dock. Just two blocks away from sound beaches, great restaurants (Gosmans, Salivars, Clam & Chowder House @ Salivars, Swallow East, Sammy’s, The Dock, etc.), Ben & Jerry's, and several local watering holes. Gosmans Dock has terrific shops (clothing, homewares, cool jewelry, beach attire and accessories) especially the Captain Kidd toy store for kids. If you don’t want to go far for groceries, the market at Gosmans has gourmet food and is not to be missed! Walk to the ferry terminal and watch local fisherman bring in the catch of the day or charter your own fishing boat. The Viking Fleet offers chartered fishing trips, and the ferry terminal has daily stops to Block Island and New London, CT. Plenty to do without a car!
