Located in a listed Georgian building this gorgeous 50 M2 apartment is the perfect stay for those who are searching both absolute quietness and the best of the London life. It is warm, cosy, very silent and full of atmosphere with its typical British features. As it is south facing and equipped with wide french doors opening onto the garden it is also very bright.

It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely living room with a comfortable sofa and an office corner, a spacious bedroom and a full bathroom. You will appreciate our KING SIZE BED, (1,80m) that can be made into twins on request upon booking. The garden comes with a table and chairs for 4. There you will enjoy jasmine and collection plants and also the shadow of the mature trees of one of the most beautiful Georgian squares in London, Porchester Square.

In addition, the flat offers superfast WIRELESS internet access, PRINTER, impressive SAMSUNG 52' LED DVD player, fire alarm, and entryphone.

Our fantastic location will allow you walking access to the most vibrant places of Notting Hill, the famous Portobello Market and via a short stroll to Hyde Park. Close also Little Venice one of the most charming neighbourhoods with its boat restaurants on the canals (10’ walk).

You are also well connected to other several London landmarks such as renowned Royal Albert Hall and a variety of museums, Science, Natural History and Victoria and Albert to name but a few, all unmissable during your stay in our wonderful city.

Why Maurice chose Bayswater

We love London. We have seen at least 150 flats before buying this one. A lot were terrible although quite expensive.

We fall in love with this one and the privacy that separate rooms offer. Many apartments in London have small beds. We wanted a king size. We love the quietness of the place which is really unusual in London, a very hectic and noisy city. The garden is fairly big compared to what we have seen.

What makes this apartment unique

Porchester is so ideally located that you can access everywhere very conveniently. Heathrow is at 15 minutes. All sorts of shops and restaurants are available day and nights the all week long, elegant or casual.

Ideal apartment in London

Renting an apartment is always a bit of a lottery as you can never be sure of what you’ll get. This time we felt we had hit the jackpot and found this apartment to be scrupulously clean, well-appointed and quiet. Plus it is very conveniently located. The manager, Maria, was very helpful and accommodating. We would want to stay here again.

Comfortable, well outfitted, central, but small.

Location is great for accessing all of central London; immediate street is a little grimy, but compensated by the beautiful public Portchester garden behind the flat.

The flat itself is recently redecorated and refurbished and a pleasure to be in. But do be warned: it is tiny. We were in London during a heatwave, and the fact that this is a basement apartment was a huge plus, staying cool when friends’ homes were stiflingly warm. The little outdoor patio is an asset in the summer too.

Excellent flat.

We enjoyed our two weeks in Sept. at 11A Porchester Sq. The flat was excellent with a fully equipped kitchen (I only did simple breakfast and no cooking on holiday). Only two concerns. First the phone accepted only incoming calls and no info given how to pay for outgoing service. Second, getting into the tub/ shower is not easy an we suggest a grab bar. Our only disappointment was with arrangements for coming and going. We arrived at Heathrow at 7am, and after immigration and the express we at the flat by 10;30. We were told there was a 100 pound charge for arrival before 4pm.Fine but the flat was not occupied the day before and already cleaned. A hotel usually has a place to store your baggage if your room isn't ready. What is a weary, jet lagged traveler supposed to do for five or more hours. Because of confusion about plane travel we had booked the flat for one more day than needed and left a day earlier. Still no consideration was given and we were still charged the fee. It didn't leave us feeling happy. Otherwise we would highly recommend 11A Porchester Sq.

We leave a mobile phone for our guests but of course, we cannot cover their outgoing calls. You could have been buying credit at any Vodaphone shop.Our property manager or I would have been informing you but you didn't ask. I will think to your suggestion for the grab bar. For the early checking fee, you informed us just the day before of your arrival of your schedule. Our conditions are clearly mentioned in the description which are very similar to hotels ones. Of course, you could have dropped your luggage. Jonathan told me that he helped a lot with luggage, with booking a cab for you and arranging your departure. We try to assist and help our guests the best we can and they can always email me or ask our property manager. We are very prompt to answer. Wish you the very best.

Gorgeous flat in cool neighborhood!

This flat was by far the most beautifully decorated and equipped one of the many we have stayed in over the last few months. The location away from the more touristy spots made is feel like we were living there,, but it was still easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. The nearby supermarket was amazing, and we enjoyed the local pubs and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to return!

Memorable stay at #11 Porchester Square

We thoroughly enjoyed our six days in the rental. Fortunately, the weather was great so that we could comfortably walk to many excellent restaurants, pubs, gift shops and the tube stations.

I would warn those with mobility problems that there are steep stairs leading to the apartment. For a relatively fit 66 year old man - it was a challenge carrying our suitcases up and down the stairs.

The summary mentions clearly that it is a lower ground floor which is the only way to have a private garden in London. Unfortunately Georgian houses which makes the charm of London streets are without elevators. I think the best solution, if you have mobility problems would be to rent a ground floor . All the best to you and we would be very pleased to host you in Brussels where our apartment is in a buiding with elevator.
