The property was spacious and close to the Ferry

The house was nice, could use some updating but for a vacation space it’s perfect. it’s very close to transportation and good restaurants it’s also right next-door to a small convenient shop. it does have a cooktop in it, from looking at the pictures you can’t see your stove but there is a cooktop. Owner was responsive, had no issues getting into the property. Parking was a bit difficult since the top floor was rented too. I think checking the number of cars a renter has to be done or increase the size of the parking area.

Nikolay's place is very convenient to downtown St George, the Staten Island Ferry and Manhattan.

Nikolay made it very easy to check in and out. The small grocery store right next store was very convenient as well as the Chinese restaurant just a few doors away.

What makes the place attractive is it's location. The Metro Bus litterly picks you up and drops you off right in front of the apartment. It is very easy to commute to the Staten Island Ferry in a matter of minutes.

Great value apartment.

6 adults stayed here over christmas /new year , and was a great place to stay away from all the hustle and bustle of Manhatten, but easy enough to access by Ferry.

A ten min walk has you at the ferry port, and the 20 min journey is a delight, seeing the statue of liberty and Manhatten skyline. Food and drink available on the ferry, and a smooth ride has you in lower Manhatten and access to transport to wherever you desire.

The apartment was clean, warm, spacious and Nikolay was always available when needed, as we found the tv was not working on arrival, but was changed within 24 hrs.

It's not a modern dwelling, but that just added to the appeal as we wanted to see the real America, and the beds were very comfortable. Kettle, toaster, microwave and kitchen utensils all to hand, and plenty of towels and shower gels, and toilet paper.

Large dining table was a handy addition.

Local amenities include 7-11 right next door, Chinese 2 mins walk, along with laundrette if required, and 7 mins walk away is the Gavel Grill, a superb diner with fantastic food and very good prices.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time, and we can not thank Nikolay enough for the Apartment and service, and should I return to New York, I would be contacting Nikolay stay here again.

Extremely disappointing -- A 5 star dump

Diving up, the outside of the home was not kept up. Grass not mowed, cement stair to drive was dislodged, front porch floor rotting. Once inside, the overall unit was not clean, wallpaper damaged, cobwebs, uncovered electrical outlets. The bed in the front room was so very worn it seems as if it could have been original to the home. Wireless internet didn't work until the third effort to address this issue. Dorm sized refrigerator was on a table so small that it almost fell off the first time we opened it, and wasn't cleaned out prior to our arrival. The floor is a rolled out piece of laminate and not secured down. I would not ever stay here again and recommend others to look else where. I do no know who is giving this place a 5 star rating..... maybe the unit upstairs? Downstairs is awful.

Owner's Response: I bought a brand a new Wi-Fi router and new wall mounted TV. No "uncovered outlets". If you see some furniture need to be replaced just met me know asap. In this particular case I had to take care of box spring. Grass at front yard trimmed every month.

Location was good. Needs some updating. There was NO television the whole time.

Overall impression good price.location good. Neighborhood ok lot of street people lot of bad language. Never fixed TV. Probaly would not stay again.
