Absolutely beautiful!

Quaint little cottage on the Delaware River. Clean & well cared for. Owners are friendly and helpful. The view is breathtaking. We were only there for a quick getaway to visit family in the area- wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect for a short getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was the second time our family of five have stayed at this property. The location is perfect, as you are right on the river. We have three boys ranging in age from 11-17. We spent four days on the river from 31 July - 4 August. The fact that you have a canoe and kayak available for your unlimited use is ideal, we went fishing and caught plenty of bass. It is a great time getting our boys away from their electronics and able to just relax and spend some quality time as a family. We saw the beavers every morning, deer drinking, bald eagles, and herring. We brought along DVDs from the library at night, we were too exhausted to do much of anything. We also did a rafting trip one of the days, I highly recommending doing a day on the river. It was a great time and thanks to Pat and Andy for allowing us this experience.

Perfect place!

  • 5 of 5

I had a great time in Cozy Cottage! The owners were super awesome people who took care of everything. Very friendly, and its hard to find a place that has everything. All I had to bring was clothes and food! The views are a CANT MISS!!! sitting by the fire watching the river was incredible. Having access to a kayak and Canoe for fishing. Less then a min away from a cool little town called Callicoon, which has a great brewery, was a great perk! Overall the cottage was beautiful, but nothing compared to the view! Definitely will be back again!

We loved the house

  • 5 of 5

Pat and Andy were great hosts and their rental cottage is wonderful. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, it's very well equipped with the usual necessities (especially the kitchen) and the location is incredible....slightly up on a rise with a gorgeous view of the river and a fantastic long terrace by the front door lit up by pretty lights so that one can eat dinner comfortably outdoors while looking out at the river. The grassy area by the riverbank is also very sweet, with several comfortable chairs and a fire pit, so it's a great place for a morning coffee or an evening drink. We also loved the fact that it was a short walk down the road and across the bridge to go into Callicoon, so you don't have to drive if you just want a nice walk to go get breakfast or lunch in town. We will definitely be going back again!

Beautiful, clean, quaint, quiet home on the River

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I had a nice relaxing stay at the Ray's cottage. The home is situated in between a hill with nice hiking, waterfalls and nature and the River. The cottage is well appointed and we were please to find that there was everything necessary to cook dinner and to grill. We enjoyed the firepit in the evenings and floating in the Delaware during the day. We highly recommend the local beer from Callicoon Brewery and found the supermarket in town to be very convenient. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch in the evenings for board games and reading. Our three days at the Ray's went too quickly and we are looking forward to booking our next stay!
