This 32m2 (350 sq ft.) apartment is located in the famous golden triangle of Paris a stone throw from the Champs Elysees. it's a very chic and rare driveliterally a few steps away from "place des ternes" and its flower market. This beautifull and charming location is unique in the capital and its quiet surroundings are full of history. Artists in the 19th century were attracted by areas susch as this one and up until today, some still live there like in the old days. As a little tribute to those paintyers and sculptors, the statues exhibited in the apartment are original !
To all oceans lovers, here is a little anecdote: it is on this private drive that Commandant Cousteau (who was oscarised) used to spend all his winters, to work on his tv documentaries.
The apartment was entirely refurbished and decored in april and may 2015, it is on the first floor of a charming "art deco" little building. It is luxurious and has been designed for comfort, peace and quiet relaxation after having walked through the streets of our capital. You will find a 1.60m large bed, large comfortables leather armchairs. The shower and the TV set are disproportionate. The WIFI is free, as well the access to english channels. There is also an automatic air conditionning.
The kitchen is modern and full equiped (dis washer, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, micro wave...).
the apartment is full of light (in the kitchen and in the bathroom) and a very large window opens into the cobble stone paved drive.
You will find a bus line and a metropolitan station left outside, the drive and the Champs Elysees are 4 minutes walk away. The station " Etoile" leads to the major Paris touristic areas.
This partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
My name is Loic, I am the father of three kids and the husband of a charming lady. We Christian and we live in the complicity of a united family. We are an artistic couple, I am a movie director (short advertising film), my wife sculpts.
Loic purchased this apartment in 2014
The neighborhood is very lively and posh and close to one of the most famous Paris markets: " Marche Poncelet". on the left across the gate, you can find typical Parisian cafes and restaurants. For the music lovers, the "Salle Pleyel" is 50 meters away.
Accommodation in the area is quite expensive so for a very decent price, you will have the possibility to experience living in Paris in a high standard apartment, in a very chic and lively neighborhood. You will feel the very soul of Paris, the romantic capital!
I don't know what else to add to the already glowing reviews. The location is so central a few mins from the Arc de Triomphe, several restaurants at the entrance to the gated street, boulangerie across the road, market a couple hundred meters away. Bus and metro are also very close by.
The apartment is the perfect size for two. It's small but has everything you need. It is immaculate, exactly like the photo's. It's also very quiet, there's no traffic going past so you get a great sleep, it helps the bed is comfortable too.
It's the first time I've used Home Away so was a bit apprehensive but really had no need to be. Had lots of info from Loic and were met by Michele who is great and showed us around and made us feel welcome. Thank you.
My friend and I stayed here on our first trip to Paris for a girlfriends vacation. The apartment was so perfect! It is everything that we hoped it would be. We felt super safe with the locked gate that lead to the private street and then the separate locks to get into the building. Lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance as well as the train. We loved this Paris Cocoon!
Nice studio apartment with everything you need. Just a few steps to get up in a very beautiful building. Nice and quiet area with privacy.
Lovely apartment with beautiful efficient remodel. Though small, it is has all the room you need. Everything mechanical was easy and worked. Furnishings lovely and comfortable. Location fabulous and convenient. Loved it.
Needs better coffee machine (like Nespresso)
This apartment, while only one room, is spacious and comfortable. The finishes and furnishings are very contemporary, with a small beautiful kitchen area and the bathroom is magazine photo worthy! The owner was very responsive. The only thing missing were the very basic necessities such a paper towels, etc, in order to help keep the place as pristine as the owner obviously keeps it. The bed was very firm, but the sheets and pillows were just right! Unlike a hotel room, I do like to be able to "live in" rather than just sleep there and the kitchen was well stocked, even though there is no oven, there is a 4 burner cooktop and microwave and small refrigerator and dishwasher. Contrary to some of the previous reviews, there is english language TV stations, 233-240, you just have to search for them. The location was on a private, very quaint street, that is totally removed from the hustle and bustle of Rue Faubourg St. Honore right outside the entrance gate that has plenty of restaurants and stores. At the gate turn left and walk two blocks to the large Monoprix on Ternes which has a great selection of food and wine, the Maison du Pou across the street from Monoprix has top end gourmet take out food and the open air market is right there too. Going the other way- turning right outside the gate is a wine shop, chocolate shop, a tea shop and the organic food market that faces Rue Daru. All the best there is. The taxi stand is literally across the street. The metro is also across the street in the Ternes circle. An easy walk to Arc de Triumph, we walked to the Musee D'Orsay from the apartment, walked down Haussman to Printemps shopping area also, lovely strolling down St. Honore past the President's palace, and basically all over Paris within a mile or two, easy metro ride back. Closest station is on the 2 line, Ternes exit, or a few blocks to the Line 1 Charles DeGualle Etoile. Taxi to and from CDG is set 50euros if you walk to the taxi stand. Uber also easy to use, including your same app and cell phone info from the states, you do not need to change. This neighborhood has more local people, is just removed enough from the Champs area with all the tourists, and is not as crowed as the Marais gets by far. Highly recommend this apartment if size is not an issue - see the photos as accurate-safe neighborhood, lovely experience.
Perfect location and a beautiful studio apartment. Quiet street, friendly neighborhood, near everything. Best accommodations while traveling in recent memory. Thanks Loic & Michele!
