Why NANCY KINZBRUNNER chose Lasgraisses

A beautiful stone presbytery on a small village square with an avenue of majestic plane trees. The garden is a lovely feature as well as the charming courtyard. Full of history, close to the majestic pink brick cities of Albi and Toulouse, yet a peaceful haven where one can awake to birdsong and the sun rising over the surrounding farming fields. A few minutes away from a large village where all is available in the way of shops, bakery, chemist, doctor. Local wineries also a few minutes away.

What makes this studio unique

Peaceful, yet so close to entertainment, gastronomic pleasures and one can set off on foot for a country walk from the house itself - no need to take your car. You can also relax with a refreshing swim in our pool after a bust days seeing the sights and being the tourist !

C'est un très joli petit studio avec beaucoup de charme. Le jardin est très agréable. Tout c'est très bien déroulé, les propriétaires sont très accueillants et chaleureux.

Local produce at the colorful food markets of Réalmont, Gaillac, Albi. World renowned Toulouse Lautrec museum and Saint Cécile basilica in Albi (UNESCO world heritage), 15 mins away. A string of medieval fortified villages to visit, with their beautifully preserved architecture. Many cultural activities to enjoy such as summer music festivals, theater, cinemas close-by. The Gaillac region, often called the French Tuscany, is well-known for its wine and beautiful properties ! Gastronomic delights to be enjoyed in the local restaurants, featuring typical south-western French cuisine. Boat trips on the winding Tarn river in the "gabarres". Plenty to see and taste in this area once called the Pays de Cocagne (Land of Plenty), famous and wealthy in the 18th century for the cultivation of pastel. Other local museums of interest close-by in most of the towns and villages. A multitude of sporting activities to be enjoyed : golf, horse-riding, swimming, cycling, walking/hiking, hot-air ballooning etc... in spectacular natural surroundings.
