Wonderful old 5 bedroom villa, painstakingly restored to her former glory.
All bedrooms are air conditioned and all have their own large bathrooms.
All beds are 4 posters with netting for comfort and all have double sided incredibly comfortable pillow topped mattresses and wonderful comfortable pillows.
There are 4 bedrooms downstairs, with a wonderful attic bedroom upstairs which is actually the largest bedroom in the villa. Once an old Spice Room, this has become transformed in to a spacious and unique bedroom.
Large dining and lounge rooms inside the villa, and a really large separate restaurant overlooking the ocean and beach.
The spacious veranda is perfect for a cup of tea,, an evening drink or simply to relax.
A Constant traveller, who loves to explore out of the way places.
Have a great love for Asia but also enjoy Europe and the USA.
Particularly love the gifted people of the Hill Tribe areas, totally admire hand loom fabrics, and the amazing crafts as well loving the simple lifestyle where no one understands they will suffer a dreadful fate without wifi and technology!!
Suzanne purchased this villa in 2010
It has a wonderful feel about it. As though there have been really serene but happy people there before.
The sound of the ocean, the fireflies in the evening and the marvellous sunsets make it a really very special place
Right on the ocean, great staff, 2 vehicles there for you with a great driver, wonderful food and an all round great place to spend time.
We have a back up generator in case of power failure.
The property backs right on to the beach. It was simply amazing. The Villa is just beautiful and the food amazing. Udith and his team did a great job in looking after us and I will miss the lovely smiles from the staff. I am taking my mother back next year for her 60th birthday. The wonderful gaul fort nearby has an amazing history and a short with the lovely Upaul to the most fantastic river cruise. I can't wait until I go back next year.
We are located within an hour of almost everything the South Coast has to offer. 40 minutes to the Historic and Heritage listed Galle Fort, and 15 minutes from the bars and cafes of Hikkaduwa Beach.
Our beach is private and pristine, most of the time you have it almost all to yourselves.
10 mines from us there is a wonderful river and lake with an incredible Mangrove Forest. You are able to take a boat trip and explore this wonderful and important ecological feature, which provides a breeding ground as well as food for so many species of fish and aquatic creatures.
A 40 minute drive through lush green paddy fields and Cinnamon plantations will bring you to a truly marvellous low growing tea Plantation.
Combine a visit here with a look at the world famous Stilt Fishermen, lunch at Unwatuna and afternoon tea at the Galle Fort before going home to the best sunset in the world.
There are loads of lovely tours and trips to be had, but best of all is kicking back and enjoying the atmosphere Six Degrees North has to offer.
This beautiful old home is so relaxing, and our wonderful staff will make absolutely sure you have everything you could possible need.
If you are looking for a wedding venue, or place for a special party then Six degrees North is just perfect. The lovely gardens and pool looking over the Indian Ocean makes a magical setting for any occasion.
