Randy Patzke purchased this house in 2014
It is a great place to get away from it and just relax. This is what you might call a no-brainer.
Great location close to boat ramp. Secluded in a quiet neighborhood. Good beds good parking great for a fishing or hunting weekend. Randy was great to deal with we will be back.
Contacted owners of the property through Home Away's website and was impressed at the response time from them. They answered all of my questions concerning the property and also what was inclusive in order for us to know what we needed to bring. I found the cabin to be roomy and comfortable as well as overstocked with appliances and cooking utensils. There was also an abundance of towels and linens as well as a washer and dryer that saved the day when we were caught in a sudden downpour. Even though the cabin is basic, the sleeping quarters were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our party of 6. The owners had just upgraded the central heating and cooling system and it cooled the unit easily. The cabin is centrally located and we were only a short drive from Paris, TN where there was a generous amount of eateries to choose from as well as several big box stores.
I not only would recommend this property for others to stay at but I have already booked it again and due to the reasonable rental rates and friendliness of the owners and will continue to use this property as I visit Kentucky Lake.
We had a great trip, I could not believe how nice this cabin was and all the things they had stocked for our stay! We had the honor of meeting the owners and they were amazing people. Thank you so much for you hospitality.

Had a fishing tournament on Kentucky Lake and needed a place to stay from April 26 - May 1. for four fisherman with two trucks and boats. We thought we had reservations somewhere else but found out three days before that we didn't. There were several things going on in the Paris Tn. area this same weekend and most everything was booked up. We found this cabin on the VRBO web site and were very pleased with everything, and the price was very reasonable. Lot's of space with a kitchen, washer and dryer, plenty of sitting room. The only thing was the parking for two large trucks and boats were tight but we were able to work it out. There is a very nice boat ramp just around the corner, easy to get in and out with your boats.
Thanks for the stay
Stayed at the cabin to do some springtime fishing the first week in April. Because of a death in the family, I was forced to alter my dates and the owner was kind and flexible enough to work with me. I really appreciated that.
The cabin was clean and had the essential items we needed to enjoy our stay. The cabin will handle a small group and if fishing is your thing, this is a great location. There are nearby boat ramps, and although there is no pier, a boat can be grounded on the shoreline, with a short walk up the hill to the cabin.
There is no Tv service, but you can use the bid screen tv for blueray discs.
In town (Paris) there is some great Bbq places. Recommended is Trollingers, and Perrys (for carryout only).
This is a nice little retreat at a good price and value for the area. I intend to go back.
