Peaceful setting with all of the comforts of home

  • 5 of 5

We just returned today from our long weekend at the Catskills cabin. The house was tastefully decorated with vintage charm and comfortably outfitted with everything you might need for a cozy visit in the woods. Great mountain view from your road, a populated but wonderfully quiet area with hardly any traffic. We fired up the Jotul woodstove on two nights -- be a good guest and BYOWood.

During the days, we explored Stone Ridge, Woodstock, Saugerties, Kingston and Annandale (Bard College Campus). Make a stop at Ashokan Reservoir at sunset. It's just over the hill. We spent a lot of evening time just enjoying the sound of winter silence. The wifi worked flawlessly.

The cabin was spotlessly clean upon our arrival and we did our best to leave it as we found it. The hosts are proactive about sharing check-in information, and you'll find detailed notes about the home and region upon arrival. A seamless visit and the best home rental experience!

Very cozy, clean and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We, two adults and two 10 year olds, had a wonderfull stay at the cabin. Its small yet everybody found their space for reading and relaxing. We loved making a fire in the evening. The describtion is accurate, its very clean and well equiped. I can absolutely recomend this place.

All around great. The cabin had warm and welcoming vibes, nice location, and all the things you'd want/expect in a weekend getaway. Nice and welcoming email with easy instructions from the owner. Great experience!

Beautiful, clean, everything you need!

  • 4 of 5

The Olivebridge cabin was beautiful, neat and clean. While the weather did not cooperate with us (it rained the whole weekend), the cabin's screened in porch was very roomy and a nice way to be outside! The owner's provided everything that was needed and it truly was a home away from home feel! It looks exactly as pictured. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to get away! The owners were a pleasure to work with!

Great place for a weekend away

  • 4 of 5

My friends and I stayed in this charming little cabin for memorial day weekend as a way to unwind and hang out. All of the amenities you could want are there including toiletries in case you forget anything, gas for the grill, and some wood for the fire pit out back.

Service is very shaky out there so if you need to be accessible via text this may not be the ideal destination, but if you're good letting your phone go (there is wifi though so email is still fair game!) then it's a lovely spot.

Potentially because it was just warming up, but we did see a few ants inside the building, but nothing a good flipflop couldn't get rid of.

As for things to do, you can of course just sit and hang out in the cabin the whole time, but if you're looking for a brief adventure Minnewaska State Park is within a half hour drive and is a great retreat into the woods for a casual hike to a gorgeous lake or waterfall (or both!).

All in all, highly recommend for a nature retreat, not the fanciest place but for the cost and location, it's great.
