Live like a local in our luxurious Georgian style townhouse overlooking Stanley Park in the heart of King West village.
Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and galleries on King West, Queen West, and the trendy Ossington Street strip. 15-20 minute walk or 10 minutes by streetcar to major tourist attractions; TIFF Bell Lightbox, Roy Thompson Hall, Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandra theatres, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Rogers Centre (baseball), BMO soccer field, Liberty Village and the CNE grounds.
This 2200 sq. ft. (204.39 sq. m.) three story townhouse is beautifully appointed with nine foot ceilings and crown moulding throughout.
The first floor could be an apartment on it's own; a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with shower and tub and a den. Clothes washer and dryer are also on this level.
The second floor is the heart of the house and features an open concept living room, dining room and newly renovated kitchen with sleek stainless steel appliances, cesarstone counters and comes fully equipped for the chef in the family. Off the living room is a deck with new Weber gas BBQ and patio furniture for outdoor dining.
The master bedroom on the third floor has a king bed and ensuite with shower and tub. There is also a den/TV room on this floor that converts into a third bedroom with it's own ensuite.
All bedrooms have ample closet space for clothes and all linens and towels are provided by the owner.
The house is protected with an alarm system and carbon monoxide smoke detectors, and comes with cable TV, WiFi, and A/C.

We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay in Stanley Terrace! From the minute we arrived, Judith made us feel so welcome and set the tone for what was to be a brilliant week in a great city.
We are a family of five (2 adults and 3 teenage children) and found the house very comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed. The house is located in a safe, well lit area which is only a short walk away from the city centre. The house is also located close to lots of good restaurants (hibachi Japanese restaurant off king street and Spice Route were our favourites).
Judith has taken the time to really think about what her guests need and really made Stanley terrace feel like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic place to stay in Toronto, being in an ideal location with most of the main sights within walking distance.
As veterans of this type of holiday in Europe, I can safely say that this house is one of the best we've ever stayed in. Judith is great to deal with and has thought of everything, with plenty of towels, etc. The wifi was upgraded when we were there and is now extremely fast, and coped with two teenagers and their social media needs comfortably.
As others have mentioned, you have restaurants on your doorstep, and the drug store across the road is handy for milk, soft drinks, bread, bagels and the like.
We also bought the weekly TTC passes, and these were great, allowing you to jump on and off the streetcars and subway.
I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Toronto.

It is absolutely spotless and is furnished to a really good standard. It was like a home from home, with everything you would need. It was such a comfortable stay. It was very hot when we visited and the air conditioning made such a difference.
The house is also in a lovely area overlooking the park.
Judith was brilliant and responded promptly to our enquiries.
We are a first time VRBO client and frankly we were a little nervous about how the experience would go. I am pleased to report that the home was as advertised, and the hospitality from Judith, the owner, was exceptional. We arrived and Judith was waiting. She took the time to review the home and all elements. She then provided a packet with all contact numbers if needed during our stay. The home was nicely furnished and all necessities were provided (extras sheets, blankets, pillows, toiletries, laundry soaps, and even ping pong paddles and balls (for a really cool concrete table at the park across the street). The location was excellent, as it is on King Ave (which is parallel to Queen) and has a ton of shopping and restaurants. There is a pharmacy that is just steps away, and a grocery store a few blocks away.
We will definitely stay here again if ever in Toronto. Thanks Judith for opening your beautiful home to our family. All the best!!
Clean and well appointed home. Has everything you need for a nice vacation. Judith (owner) was very helpful and added to our overall experience of an international vacation. We bought a TTC weekly pass and could hop onto the street car within a block of the townhouse and easily travel throughout the city.
Drug store across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time in Toronto and would definitely stay here again.
Loved this property and found it to be exactly as described. The townhouse has an open plan main floor and is spacious, elegant and cozy. It is in an ideal location for accessing shopping, groceries, tourist sites and theatre . We appreciated how quickly Judith replied when we had questions before we arrived. She greeted us at the townhouse and made sure we knew where things were and gave directions on how the appliances worked. This was a great touch because written directions are often not as straight forward as you might think they are. Judith decorated the townhouse for the holidays and provided extra cutlery and dishes should we have needed them. She even thought to provide a welcome basket of treats and wine in addition to breakfast fixings. This property felt like home -a wonderful place to gather family for the holidays. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and plan to stay here again. Thank you Judith.
