Weekend Stay

  • 5 of 5

The place was nicely upgraded and very clean. When we arrived there was no wood but I called the service line and some one brought wood over very fast which was good service. The place is very basic, make sure you bring everything you need. One thing to keep in mind - the bottom bunk bed is only suitable for children and honestly the top but is not suitable for anyone, it's really narrow and dangerous (especially for small children). Other than that the place was super conveniently located and we had a great time. Thanks so much!

Sufficient but could be better

  • 3 of 5

Cabin was really clean. However, there were some amenities that could be improved. First, the top bunk beds do not have railings so risk of falling off is pretty high since the bed itself is tiny. Also, only a small adult or kid will be able to fit on the bunk bed. Place sleeps 6 people but only had towels, toilet paper, etc for 4. There was no door mat to soak all of the snow from our shoes when entering the cabin so it was just wet everywhere. We had to sacrifice one of the towels to dry the entry way. Kitchen was equipped but did not have items such as oil, salt/pepper. We rent often in Mammoth and every cabin we have been to supplied those simple things. So it was our fault for assuming this place will have it as well. On a good note, location is key. Close to eagle lodge and to the village. Parking was easy to navigate. There is a shuttle directly across the street that takes you to eagle lodge. Super convenient but lines do get long on weekends.

Very nice interior, but 5-6 adults beware

  • 4 of 5

This is a really lovely unit and very nicely done on the inside. I just would caution those traveling with all adults as the bunk beds are narrower than a twin mattress, ok for kids, a little comical for the two grown men we had sleep there. I would also recommend picking up extra towels from Grand Mammoth Resorts, or bringing your own if you check-in late. There were only 4 towels in the unit even though the place is advertised to sleep up to 6. All that aside, we enjoyed our stay!

Very Nice!

  • 4 of 5

The condo was updated from the photos posted at the time of booking, which was a nice surprise. Nicely decorated, very clean and stocked with all the kitchen items needed to prepare a good meal (except for the food), basic shower toiletries, linens, blankets, and wood for a nice fire. A couple of items to watch for are the bunk bed mattresses are too big for the beds, so they're inclined (we adjusted them by placing a support underneath) and the bedroom thermostat had no instructions but we were able to find them online. We needed to book another week, this month, but unfortunately, this place was unavailable. We'll look for it again in the future.
