Clean, good location, but easy to hear the neighbors.

The good:

Location is very convenient, near supermarket, lots of restaurants and shopping.

After and during heavy snowfall, maintenance crew was efficient at clearing snow from walkways

Nice newer kitchen. Plenty of place settings. We had 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids).

The two large beds were comfy. Bedding was warm.

Heaters worked well. Lopi oven fireplace was great (once we got it started with a fake log, it was amazing with real wood).

Furniture and overall condition was good and clean.

Internet worked well.

Check-in was quick and easy.

The not-so-good:

Bunk beds were pretty hard. Kids preferred the couch over the bunks. One of the beds was very squeaky. One ladder did not fit the bed. No railing on one of the upper bunks.

The smaller room slept 4 but it got very stuffy.

Water heater good for one shower. Then wait 15 min before another shower.

No cleaning supplies in kitchen or bathrooms. One bar of soap for each bathroom (not enough for each shower and sink).

Bring your own board/card games. There are none in the condo.

The bad:

Paper thin walls and especially the ceiling. It sounded like elephants walking around upstairs, and it was just normal sized people. This kept us up late and got us up early. We left the evening before scheduled checkout because we saw that they were having a birthday party upstairs and it was going to be even noisier than the previous nights. We''ll never stay on the ground floor again.

No snow shovel. We were digging our cars out of a foot of snow using a sledding disk.

We accidentally forgot to leave one of the parking permits when we checked out late evening. That was a costly mistake.

We stayed in Horizons 4 #167 the first week of January, 2017.

The good:

After and during heavy snowfall, maintenance crew was efficient at clearing snow from walkways

The smaller room slept 4 but it got very stuffy.

Water heater good for one shower. Then wait 15 min before another shower. We think this is common for all the Horizon 4 condos with under-counter electric water heaters.

No cleaning supplies in kitchen or bathrooms. One bar of soap for each bathroom (not enough for each shower and sink).

Bring your own board/card games. There are none in the condo.

It was what we needed for our weekend. Instructions were very clear We had everything we needed. Wifi instructions were not exact and connection was slow and spotty. Overall good stay and nice upgraded unit.

Owner's Response: Im glad to hear the unit was perfect for your needs on this weekend trip. WiFi in Mammoth Lakes can be unreliable at times but I have asked our maintenance team to take a closer look. Thanks for sharing your experience. We look forward to hosting you again.
