About The Owner

We are retired teachers who live on a farm in Amish country in Ohio. We find Sanibel Island restorative. The Island is safe, kid friendly and restful.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1999

Why The Owner chose Sanibel

We bought a condo the very first time we visited Sanibel. We drove across the causeway and saw dolphins jumping in San Carlos Bay and knew we would come back.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy sitting by the pool and catching up on our reading. We enjoy having our family visit. We swim in the pool, rent bikes, watch the dolphins in the Gulf and walk for miles. We come here to relax and renew.

Perfect Vacation

We had a wonderful time the week of Christmas and the best weather ever! 70s and 80s. Not a drop of rain. This was a relaxing vacation for us with no agenda except to go to the beach and spend our time rejuvenating. We did walk the beach everyday and of course found great shells. We even saw a dolphin on two separate occasions. One was very close to shore.

The condo had everything we needed. Plenty of blankets, towels and beach towels. That's a huge plus when you have to pack and pay for suitcases! The storage room was filled with ample amounts of chairs, toys and we liked the "beach dolly". It was perfect for dragging everything out to the beach. We ate out at Timbers, Grandma Dots and ordered take out a few nights so we could stay longer on the beach. Everything was perfect. We thank you for sharing your place with us. It will be a trip to remember. It was hard to come back to 2 degrees in OH with negative temperatures at night....not including windchill. Thanks for a trip of a lifetime of memories for our family.

Serenity by the Sea!

This was our second Thanksgiving week spent in this wonderful condo! We enjoyed every moment and have already booked again for next year! Condo is clean and comfortable. Has everything we need for cooking and plenty of towels (bath and beach). We ate out every night except Thanksgiving we cooked and enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal looking at the ocean. Doc Ford's and Island Cow were definitely our favorite places to eat. Dolphins swam right past us while we were in the water on 2 separate days...very cool! Thank you so much again Jean and Clyde for sharing your little slice of paradise with our family. We can't wait to return next fall! : )

Serenity and relaxation in a great condo!

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful condo. The condo is exactly as portrayed here on VRBO. This place is huge and very quiet. The view from the lanai is spectacular, some days we didn't want to leave our champagne breakfast and head down to the beach it was so nice! The condo is well equipped with all the kitchen stuff you might need and the closet downstairs is full of beach toys, chairs, floats, umbrellas, etc. While close to Periwinkle and all the major restaurants we ate in every day, and between the kitchen and the grill area we had all the stuff needed to prepare anything. Beautiful pool and grounds in general and everything was in good repair. It was also nice to stay in a complex with only 36 total units so the beach or pool was never crowded. I highly recommend this place. You can't go wrong! Also Royal Shell who handles arrivals/departures were a dream and the most efficient management company we've ever dealt with. Great vacation and a reset to zero before going back to our stressful work life's!

This condo far exceeded our expectations! It is very spacious and our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need (including 6 beach towels). The views were absolutely breathtaking! The furniture and beds were all very comfy. The storage closet was an added bonus with tons of beach toys, chairs and umbrella. We brought home bags of beautiful shells that we found right on the beach in front of condo, including tons of sand-dollars! We saw dolphins, star-fish and an eagle. We went to Ding Darling preserve, Blind Pass Beach, Tarpon Bay touch tank, shopping, rented bikes and explored the island. We ate at The Lazy Flamingo, Matzaluna, Island Cow, Cips and Blue Giraffe. We all agreed that this was our favorite vacation to date! Thank you so much Jean and Clyde for sharing your beautiful condo with us!! We hope to come back next year!
