Why Owner - Michelle Keahey chose Travis Heights
The location is the best Austin has to offer for those that want to be walking distance to all of the arts and entertainment, dining and shopping, while being able to retreat in the privacy of an urban oasis.

Great location. Super cute. Michelle is great!
Wonderful, quaint setting near the heart of Austin
My wife and I had a great extended weekend with our accommodations being the centerpiece. The guest house is small, but has a great layout and many conveniences, making it ideal for a couple or group of 3. My favorite part was the back patio which is built around a massive live oak tree and had seats of all types plus two hammocks in constant shade. The style of place is eclectic and quiet and suited us well.
Michelle was a perfect host. She took the time to show us around when we first arrived and then was unobtrusive from there on out. (She would check with us in passing to see if needed anything. )
We loved the place and will likely stay here again on our next trip to Austin.
Great style and convenient location!
This was perfect for a girl's trip with my daughters. It was easy walking to shops and breakfast, an easy drive or uber to activities and nightlife. It felt very safe with the codes to get into the gate and the guest house. Michelle was a friendly, responsive host and we fell in love with her pup!
Super cute
Stayed with four friends for a girls weekend. The place was great for our group. Super well decorated and very comfortable. Even came with coffee and shampoo/conditioner. The pictures are representative and I would stay here again,
Girls Getaway
The coziness and easy access of this property added to the fun of our Girls Getaway! We felt at home and relaxed- laughed and giggled with coffee or drinks in the gorgeous yard! Location was perfect and we could either drive or Uber with ease into all of Austin. MIchelle promplty answered our questions and provided all information needed! Highly recommend!

Location
This downtown property is two blocks from S. Congress or (SoCo) just behind the St. Cecilia Hotel. Walk to shopping, restaurants and live music. It's also just a half mile to downtown, 6th street and the Convention Center where a lot of the SXSW activities are located. The Long Center for performing arts is also walkable by less than 10 minutes. If you like to walk or jog you can reach the hike and bike trail or 'Lady Bird Lake' in just 5 minutes. Barton Springs swimming pool is a 10 minute drive, well worth it even if you don't want to swim! Across from the spring is Zilker Park where the famous Austin City Limits (ACL) music festival is located. There is plenty to do within walking distance or a short cab ride to all the popular spots in Austin from this property.
Other Activities: Boating, Miniature Golf, Shopping, Kayaking, Health/Beauty Spa
Golf: Lions Municiple Golf Course is approximately 5 miles away and is a public golf course.
