Spacious and convenient two bedroom/two bathroom apartment on the second floor of a twenty unit building in the heart of Pasadena. Newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms. 2-blocks from South Lake Ave, Colorado Blvd, and Caltech. Gated park available. Monthly rental available.

Each of the two bedrooms has a very comfortable queen size bed. Living room has a leather couch. Features include full kitchen, bathroom, huge closet space, new hardwood floors, and extra sheets/towels.

We are centrally located in Pasadena; with just about all you can imagine a few blocks in each direction. Conveniences include, but are not limited to:

- 2 blocks from shopping and restaurant areas on South Lake Ave and Colorado Blvd.

- Top restaurants within 4 blocks include: Mediterranean Cafe, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Abricott, The Counter, Lemonade, Malbec, Green Street Restaurant, Bistro 45, Cafe Verde, and New Delhi Palace.

Clean and convenient

You couldn't wish for a better location to walk to Caltech and shopping in Pasadena. New flooring and contemporary furnishings make the apartment attractive. The kitchen is fine. We would have liked a softer bed and mattress more pillows, but that's just us. All instructions were clear and the garage access secure and convenient.

convenient but not cozy

We were exhibiting at the Convention Center, so this apartment was extremely conveniently located.

This apartment is the most barely-furnished place I have ever rented. Aside from extra toilet paper, everything else was pretty bare bones. There were 4 each of glasses, mugs, dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, forks, knives and spoons (teaspoons only, no soup spoons, no serving spoons). No paper towels or kitchen towels, so we had to sacrifice one of our precious 4 hand towels (4 each bath and hand, no washcloths, no bathmats). Full bottles of shampoo and large bars of Dial soap, though. No kleenex. No iron or ironing board (so much for packing my linen blouses thinking I would iron them on arrival).

The living room was furnished with one large sectional couch. We split it up to make it easier for 3 people to sit and converse. Very little lighting (the lamp shown in the photo of the living room did not exist) so it was quite dim. We put one of the bedroom lamps into the living room.

It was sort of a noisy place. Although I didn't hear traffic much, we could hear every footstep in the apartment above us, and they walked around at all hours of the night. I am a light sleeper, and a couple of nights went into the living room to read when I could not sleep, so I heard the footsteps (footstomps?) a lot.

The entry instructions could be clearer. If one is not accustomed to using a lockbox, Glendy's instructions were quite confusing. Then, one had to park on the street, go up to the apartment to retrieve the garage door opener and garage access key. You could exit the garage without a key, but could not get into the laundry room (in the garage, not specified in the instructions) except with a key. Laundry rates are $1.25 or $1.50 for washing, $1.00 for drying, quarters only. That info would have been very helpful to know ahead of time.

Parking in Pasadena is very confusing. The garage has one space for each apartment. We had two vehicles. Glendy gave us information to park at another of her apartments, but did not know that parking across the street from this apartment was exempt from the no over-night parking law.

We were not unhappy there, just a little confused and a little inconvenienced by the sparse furnishings. Had we known ahead of time, we'd have brought what we needed with us, as my husband drove.

If you need to be near the convention center, the location is ideal. Bring your own needed accoutrements and you can be quite happy there.

Clean well-maintained apartment

Excellent location near South Lake. Clean, well-furnished and excellently maintained two bedroom apartment has all the amenities required including Wifi, a TV, kitchen utensils, basic necessities and washing/drying facilities at hand. Parking accommodation also provided. Quiet area, with less than a 5 minute walk to new Pasadena and 20 minute walk to Old Pasadena. Freeway entrance nearby. Plethora of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs for all leisure needs and lots of office complexes too. Public library is situated nearby adjacent to a police station, and some universities are in the vicinity as well. Overall a wonderful place to be in for leisure or business.

Nice and comfortable place to stay

We stayed at this apartment for two weeks. It was very conveniently located to restaurants and shopping areas. The unit was clean and had all the amenities. The manager was very helpful and accommodating, always quick to respond.
