AMAZING rental

  • 5 of 5

You will not be disappointed at this house. It is a great location and has everything you need. The rooms were a great size and the layout is great for our family of 5. We spent most of the time in the amazing backyard that was completely equipped with every game we could think of. I had a question for the owner while there and he promptly responded and helped me out. I highly, highly, highly recommend this house. We have stayed at 3 other houses over the last 4 years and now plan on making this our annual Nantucket house.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

We just loved our week in Nantucket at this great, comfortable, well-appointed cottage. We especially fell in love with Pond Road and the surroundings...the house is really in the middle of it all on the island and everything is easily accessible. Owner was professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with!

Great stay in Nantucket!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a great vacation in this home. The owner was responsive, and helpful with any questions. The property looks exactly as pictured and is in a great location. About 1.5 miles from town and 1.5 miles from Cisco beach. It was really convenient to get around (we had a car), but even if you didn't, it is close enough to stores, places to eat and beaches with a bike path to Cisco just down the street. The house is well equipped, comfortable and was enjoyable. We would definitely stay again!

This house was very well-suited for our family of 4... good proximity to many bike paths, a quick ride to town, and very easy to get to both surfside and cisco beaches.

Kent made us feel like guests in his home vs "renters". Access to plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, and ample supplies in the house, which was the perfect size for us. The kids loved the private backyard.

Kent was also a text away for any questions, and he was very responsive.

We arrived to find a perfectly charming, clean and well-stocked house in a quiet neighborhood close to the center of Nantucket. The beds were VERY comfortable and the house had everything, including laundry soap, dishwasher soap, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. (Bring your own shower soap and shampoo) It is so nice not to have to take time out from your visit to shop for these items.

Kent had sent a detailed list of favorite things to do as well as restaurant suggestions. We did not want for anything.

The home is near a "Wave" stop, which is the area shuttle service... cost s $1 per ride. We did not figure this out for a couple of days. There are 2 blue stripes on poles which designate "Wave" stops.

We walked to town a couple of times and took taxis the rest of the time. The taxis only cost $13/ride and there were 4 of us. There are bike paths everywhere and you can rent bikes in town. We did take a walking tour of Sconset, which is on the far east end of the island. It was very worthwhile. Don't miss the Whaling Museum...AWESOME!

We had a great time and would definitely go back to Kent's house if we have the opportunity to return to Nantucket. We did throw our pennies into the harbor as we left so hopefully it will happen. We also learned about "Nantucket red"...can't say it is a great color, but it does have meaning to Nantucketers.

We had a great time in Nantucket!
