1-6 Sleepers, 2 Bathrooms, Kitchen & Lounge with SMART TV & WI-FI

Entire Luxury apartment with a Smart TV for 1-8 adults. 1 X Queen Bed in master bedroom (attach bath).2nd bed room has a queen bed for 2 adults too. Apartment has Common bathroom too ( 1 X full bath), dinning with 6 persons seating / living room with 2 sofa beds (2 sleepers). 3rd bed room has 2 air mattresses for max 3 adults. PLEASE NOTE: 2nd/3rd bed room and Common bathroom will be provided if there are more than 3-8 sleepers /reserved. Apartment has private balcony with a great park view.

Communication to Manhattan:

Near to a bus stop to NYC in 30 min also close to Newark Penn Station NJ Transit & PATH train to NYC 15min.Newark Liberty International airport just 10 mins taxi ride.

Parking Spot:

Apartment has enough free streets parking, so parking spot will never be an issue.Also You will have free parking (1pm-2am) @ South Orange Station to go to Manhattan in 15 Min.(Approx.) From the apartment South Orange NJ transit station is 8-10 minutes drive.

Guest Access:

ADT Secured entrance to your house. You will be given house entry and apartment entry codes on arrival. Apartment Includes brand new queen bed, En-suit full bathroom, 1 common full bath, Kitchen (includes stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, cooking pots, pans and utensils) & Dinning area for 6.

2nd bed room and bathroom will be used only when more than 2 adults staying in the apartment. Cleaning fee will be charged If less than 3 person use the 2nd bathroom.


Free high-speed internet connection. Password will be given on arrival.

Guest can have Iron /Iron board and hair dryer with a little cost of $3.00 each.

Host's laundry room with Washer/Dryer can be accessible with little charge of $10.

We as a family living in this same private house @3rd floor, always available to interact with guest via Phone/email or in person.


 1.Please take off your shoes. Host provides flip-flop to use in the house.

 2.No smoking, absolutely no drugs, no partying inside the house, no eating in the bedroom. Trace of any of these could cost cleaning fees up to $300.00

 3.Please leave TV remote control on the TV stand after watching TV. Loosing TV remote could cost deposit.

 4.Please keep your kitchen clean. Wash kitchen utensils right after use. Throw food waste in the kitchen waste bin only. Please leave your garbage or kitchen waste before check-out to the garbage can located outside (left hand side of the House).

 5.Please clean your toilet bowel after use.

 6.Overall leave the apartment as you found at the time of check -in.

 7.No other guest allowed at any time without host's consent.

 8.The main entrance must be keep locked at all times.

 We also ask that you keep your apartment entrance door locked when you are out. Your apartment key is for your use only. Please return all keys before departing.

 9.Guest is responsible for all his/her belongings in the apartment. Host will not take any responsibility for guests missing or damaged item/items.

 10.Host will not take any responsibility for any guest injury or incident.

 11.Guest should not be loud at any time. We should respect others who are living or may be sleeping in this multi-family house.

 12.Checking out before or sharp 12.00pm is ok. If you checking out later than the mentioned time could cost extra cleaning fees for the cleaning team. I pay them per visit. They charge me extra if they had to wait longer than 10 minutes for the apartment keys.

 13.Host reserves the right to access to your apartment anytime or if any emergency.

 14.Host reserves the right to remove all guest belongings from the apartment if guest is absent at the time of check out.

 15.Guest can leave their luggage in my store room and collect in 24hrs if necessary.

 16.All Furniture in the apartment is for guests to use. Guest cannot bring any furniture or equipment in the apartment at any time.

 17.Guest should not move any furniture in the apartment too.

 18.Plenty of free streets parking available. Only on street sweeping days (Monday & Tuesday) please park your car/vehicle accordingly. Otherwise ticket will be issued by the authority.

 19.Street Sweeping days: Monday - Right side of the road, Tuesday- Left side (Park side) of the road.

 20.Please do not block/park on any ones driveway.

Clean enough but shady area of town

The following items were of concern:

1. One towel per person was provided but no wash clothes or hand towels. Extra towels were $5.

2. No flip flops provided even though they forbade shoes in the VRBO.

3. No top sheets on beds. Only a blanket or comforter. Were they laundered or not between visitors?

4. Light bulbs burned out or missing.

5. Christmas lights and wreath hanging on front of unit.

6. Eating establishments may have been nearby but we didN't feel safe walking.

7. Ended up only sleeping there 2 out of 4 nights due to feeling unsafe.

8. Would never recommend.

Owner's Response: Hi Gary, You should not be making misleading statements. You stayed here whole four days. Your Nissan was parked every nights. As this is a private apartment i can only see what you left outside and caught on CC cameras outside. I get it now. Probably you did not like me requesting all of you to take your shoes outside of the apartment door where the shoe rack placed. And flip flop placed in the apartment cabinet too.. Sorry GARY this i what i do only for my guests hygiene.And rules are for all . Can't change for one particular group of guests SORRY. I really think you had enjoyed your stay and did not break your budget staying over expensive hotels in MANHATTAN. By the way i have many reviews where people highly recommended this place.

Nice for the Price

Very roomy for 7 people. Clean. Beds and couches were not comfortable. $10 a load for laundry is overpriced, better off going to a laundry mat. Neighborhood not the best. If you are from a big city, its like the not so good part. I am from Detroit, so it was like staying in Detroit neighborhood near a suburb. Not the best, but not the worst. However, the neighborhood is very quiet at night. Duncan Donuts in walking distance very convenient and they were very nice there. Being near the freeway was nice. Close to Libery state park to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty. Owners were very nice and responded to requests and questions fast. Great place to stay if you are in NYC for most of the day. Definitely would stay again.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your kind response. As you said my street is very quite and i would say purely residential and you liked the Dankin Donuts just few minutes walk as they are very friendly which is reflection of a better neighborhood right? To stay in a best neighborhood (MANHATTAN & surrounding) you probably had to break your budget heavily which you didn't do and choose to stay in my apartment which is 70 USD per night (BASE rate) and situated in a better neighborhood . So guests like you like my place coz they do not have to break their budget by staying in over priced expensive apartments in Manhattan/NYC and also convenient to get to all NYC /Manhattan attractions. Hoping to see you all again. Thank You

Great apartment! Clean and Cozy

We rented this place for a few nights while in town for a wedding. The place was VERY clean and cozy for myself, husband and toddler. Hrid was very nice and accommodating to the few things we needed. The location is in a pretty quite neighborhood with a park right across the street. For us the location worked out well especially for the price and comfort. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great house & host, time consuming commute

Hrid is incredibly sweet and the house is very clean, comfortable with a good amount of space and nice furniture. There is a TV now, and I very much enjoyed watching Netflix on the Roku TV. The wifi works well and I had no issues at all.

As expected, the house is further out from the city if you are commuting into Manhattan, and the neighborhood is transitional with nothing too close restaurant / shopping wise. I wasn't comfortable walking alone at night in the area, but I did it once and it was fine. Once in the house I felt completely secure and safe - no issues. There are a lot of public transportation options (the 107 bus express is the fastest $8.50, ~35mins to Port Authority + 10min walk from the house), but I opted to Uber to Newark Penn Station ($8-9, 10mins) and then take NJTransit train ($5.50, ~35mins) into the city to Penn Station. I believe you can take the 31 bus to Newark Penn Station from right near the house as well, but I didn't try it. In general, I found that all-in, it would take me ~1hr 10mins to get to the city. For that trade-off you get a great deal on a big house with a wonderful owner.

Owner's Response: Hi Kew, Thanks for your thoughtful review. But needs to do few corrections of your info. 1. Express buses stops are on South orange ave (5 mins walk) but I guess you got off somewhere little far from the house. 2. From Newark Penn station to Manhattan is 1 stop by NJ transit (express) journey time 10 minutes. You probably took PATH train which is local and could take longer than NJ transit. 3.This house is located in a quiet residential area therefore you probably felt yourself alone while you were walking on the street. By the way all shops and restaurants are in 10-15 minutes taxi/driving radius. This is not Manhattan that you will get stores or restaurants next door. But still we have Dunkin donuts 2 minutes walk and all high end restaurants / groceries in 15-20 minutes walking (south orange & Scotland rd) or by bus #31 is only 5 minutes. This is the perfect place for those who don't want to break their budget but stay in a Luxury apartment with all amenities very near to NYC/Manhattan. Once again thanks for choosing my apartment for your stay.
