The house sits on the Saco river with sweeping mountain views of Attitash. Relax inside by the hearth or sit outside on the 40 foot deck that is just feet from the river. With 5 bedrooms and three baths the home can comfortably fit medium to large size groups. The house is ideally situated 10 minutes from North Conway, 5 minutes from Story Land and just minutes from Attitash. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby and a utility trail that takes you up the river. Take a tube or canoe down the Saco and get out in front of the house! Please note, stairs on the river are prohibited by law. The house also has a recently finished basement accessible through a outside entrance or steep nordic staircase that was recently installed and not pictured. Please note, the staircase to the basement is steep. The basement has concrete floors and shiplap walls with a fireplace, bar, lounge area, ping pong table and foosball table!
This house has been recently updated and renovated within the last 2 years. Most of the house has been updated, however, there are still some blue and yellow tubs from the 70s which we feel adds character to the home.
Wifi and basic cable included
Large flat screen TV on main floor
Flat screen tv, dvd player in basement
Indoor and outdoor speakers
The House is an absolute blast but if you decide to stay here you will need to respect the house and the community. Trailers and or RVs are strictly prohibited.
Please note, this house is a camp on the river in the White Mountains. It has been renovated and is a lot of fun but it is by no means a "luxury property". If you are looking for a fun, clean and relaxing family home right on the river this is your place!
Frequently asked questions! Please read before booking so you know what to expect
Please note, we do not accept CSA travel insurance.
Is this a high end custom home?
It is not. While the home has been extensively renovated we still consider it to be a "camp" and is very much a rustic chalet that fits in the Mount Washington Valley character. That being said we take pride in the cleanliness of our home and our cleaners are some of the best in the area
Who is this home best suited for?
Most of our guests are families getting together and enjoying the home and the Mount Washington Valley
Can I swim in front of the house?
Sometimes, the water height completely depends on the rainfall and amount of snow. At times the water is 6+ feet deep. During normal summer months the water gets about waist high in front of the house. There is however a swimming hole about 100 feet up the river.
Is there a beach in front of the house?
There is not, please look at our photos to see exactly what the home looks like from the river. We do have a private community beach that can be seen from the deck.
What is the water access like at the house?
The house is waterfront however because of laws governing what you can build on the river, there are no stairs. You can access the water via a steep hill. Please look at the river view of the house to get a better idea.
Can I kayak or tube in front of the house?
Absolutely! During normal summer months, the river in front of the house is more than high enough to tube or kayak down. If you want, you can float for hours.
Are there hiking trails nearby?
Yes! The mount Stanton trail head is on our road, about a 5 minute walk from the house!
What sort of other amenities do you have?
If you don’t see it in the photos it is probably not there. If you need something specific just ask!
Is the house in a neighborhood or is it secluded?
We are in a residential neighborhood.
How is the internet/cell service?
ATT and Verizon get service at the home
