We needed to get a way for a night. We stayed at the cabin and it was breath taking. The see and hear the river and it was so relaxing. The view is amazing. The cabin was very clean and cozy.
The only thing I would change is the front foyer has no door into the living room and it got chilly during the night. We would recommend putting in a door that you could shut to help keep it warm.
Over all our stay was very nice and relaxing.
When we arrived, we were stunned by how pretty Eagles View cabin is, and what a lovely setting it has. So we were so pleased to have made that choice.
We then had a pleasant few days, the only problem was the cabin was so very cold for a winter stay. Most of our group had trouble sleeping as it was so cold (please leave some more blankets for future guests!), and a couple got sick, meaning we had to leave early. So I wished we'd booked for spring instead of winter.
My wife and I stayed at this cabin over the weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time! The cabin is perfect for 2 people (plus a dog) and would be equally as perfect if there were two more (a total of 4). Shenandoah National Park is very close and there are excellent hikes within 30 mins of the cabin. The cabin was clean and quite, with a wonderful view of the Shenandoah River immediately in front of the cabin (right outside the door).
All-in-all, we had a fantastic time and would definitely go back again.
Me and my girlfriends had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. Thanks so much!
This property is even nicer than the pictures show. Very Clean, Quiet, relaxing, Just what the Doctor ordered. We will be back
The house is well located and the met our imagination. We had outdoor BBQ and fire place, were next to the river.
We loved the jacuzzi upstairs and found almost everything we needed.
The house could use a general and intense cleaning (under the beds and sofas, on the curtains etc), our baby crawler found a lot of dust.
I would also say that the house is good for a maximum of 4 people and rather a family with kids then 2 couples as the jacuzzi is one of the bedrooms without door (we knew it and didn't mind at all).
The 2 downstairs bedrooms both have queen beds and are rather for 1 person than 2.
Communication with the owner was very easy and fast.
