This newly renovated two bedroom condo is located in The Shipyard, a neighborhood of Truman Annex in the heart of Old Town Key West! Colorful, fun patterns fill the rental with life while the furnishings provide a comfortable gathering space for your group. The sunny deck overlooks the distance views of the ocean through the lush trees but can also be a shady retreat with the help of the adjustable awning. 


The Quarterdeck’s open floor plan and ample seating provides the perfect space for your group to enjoy together. Curl up on the couch and watch a movie on the flat screen, gather around the dining table to play a game or cook together in the fully equipped kitchen!


Both guest rooms have a comfortable queen bed with extra drawers built into the bed frames for maximum storage space! Each room has a closet with lots of hanging space a flat screen TV, tile throughout and new paint for a fresh, clean feel. 


Settled in the manicured, gated community of The Shipyard, this location offers guests a peaceful spot to relax just a block from all the action! You will be in walking distance from Fort Zachary’s gorgeous beach and picnic area, Duval Street, Mallory Square and more! The Shipyard also offers a beautiful community pool lined with lounge chairs perfect for soaking up the sun. Parking is always an issue in Old Town, but this condo comes with its own designated parking space!  The sofa in the living room conveniently folds out for a third bed.


Open the French doors to the back deck letting in the great breezes and sunrays that fill the space throughout the day. This wonderful extension to the living space has a table for two where you can have your morning coffee or enjoy a cocktail after a long day of exploring. On hot summer days pull out the awning to push back the sun so you can enjoy the views without sitting in the direct sunlight.

Very Bicely Appointed Unit

This centrally Old Town historical but modern 2 BR/1BA unit with full size front end loading clothes washer and dryer with full modern kitchen (minus bowls?) was a great stay. Second floor, the views were not great from the front porch (parking lot view) but the rear porch were good (not great) for people watching on their way to/from the beach and sunsets. There were plenty of towels, both bath and beach. Comfy sofa and good size tv (42" or greater) in living room and a 32" in both BR's. Beds could use some updating. There is a nice pool 30 seconds away and Ft Zackery Taylor beach about a 10 minute walk. If you fly in, dont bother renting a car, rent bicycles, parking is tough if you drive off the Annex. I Ubered/Lyfted it to the market for $8 each way and stalked up for my 1 week stay.. Overall I would stay here again and definitely

recommend this unit.

Location, location, location!

My husband and I stayed at the Quarterdeck mid November and found it to be an ideal location for our Key West getaway. The condo was bright and clean. Although it was an easy walking distance to Duval street and numerous restaurants and attractions it was still far enough away to be quiet for sleeping (barring the occasional rooster!)

Would definitely recommend it for a reasonably priced couples vacation. Thanks!

Truman & Co. Property Management fails after Irma ...

Our family recently stayed at "The Quarterdeck", the condo and the complex were nice and located in an area of Key West that is extremely convenient for dining and night life on Duval Street.

The issue that made this vacation less than desirable was the fact that we were awoken every morning at 8:00 A.M., ( after long nights) by painters who were doing scheduled painting maintenance, this included scrapping and painting the windows and the railings on the front and back decks. Neither deck was accessible to us during the day.

I want to make it clear that this painting had nothing to do with Irma, the painters told me that this building was scheduled well in advance and they were just working on the schedule that they were provided.

I notified the Property Management Co. after the fact and they responded by saying that they could do nothing about the inconvenience since they were not made aware of the issue while it was occurring. (I did try calling on a few occasions but the office was not open and the call went to voice mail, I also tried our appointed concierge and his number went to voice mail as well). Their response is reasonable, they also said that the HOA who schedules the work provides them little information regarding what will be painted and when ( a schedule). I find it hard to believe that the Property Management Co. in conjunction with the HOA communicates so little that every potential rental offers the renter the possibility of incurring the same inconvenience. If that truly is the case then this scenario will present itself over and over.

Lesson learned on my part ... ask about scheduled maintenance projects and let the Property Management Co., know of any issues or inconveniences ASAP, if you can reach them. It won't happen again.

Wonderful location -- gated community but close to everything in old Key west. Place was cute!

Loved the place, had a great time; only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because the sheets in one of the bedrooms had tiny spots of blood stain. This was probably a housekeeping issue rather than the fault of the property owners, though.
