About Jim Wilson

Karen Love and her sister Kelly Love (the Love Sisters) rented this apartment after graduating from Eckerd College. Karen married Jim Wilson, but didn't want to give up the Love Shack. 22 years and 5 children later, Karen and Jim still enjoy our Pass A Grille get away. We hope that you will too!

Great Vacation Spot

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 young kids for 5 days and had a wonderful time! Jim was awesome and helped us out by having a pack n play, stroller and high chair there waiting for us so we didn't have to fly with all of that. There were also chairs, coolers, sand toys, umbrella, towels, you name it for our use which was SO wonderful! A quick walk to the beautiful beach, a few local restaurants and market make this a great place to stay. We were a tad bummed to see how close we were to the main road (more of a worry because we have young kiddos) which there was a TON of construction going on. Obviously nothing Jim can do about it and didn't keep us up, but hopefully that is over soon as it was a tad annoying. All in all this was a great place to stay and all the pictures were very accurate of what you can expect. We would definitely come back!

Charming and a great location

What a great week near this beautiful beach! We loved the Pass-A-Grille area and this location was perfect. The Sea Critters and Wharf just across the street had the best seafood and service ever! We were just a couple minutes walk to the beach with an easy access walkway. At night we jumped on the trolley and found several really fun beach bars. We also found a grocery store this way but often just used the market that was next door to the condo. The only draw back was the road construction going on right now...it was kind of a mess. BUT it will soon be completed and the area will benefit from newer and safer roads. I will certainly be back to this charming little jewel....

Great vacation rental in a great location

My family and I stayed here last fall for a brief vacation and enjoyed everything about the place. Conveniently located, everything in Pass-A-Grille is within walking distance. The beach, a convenient mart, and several restaurants/bars are within a block. The various rafts and beach toys available for the kids were a nice touch. We didn't get the pleasure of meeting Jim, but everything was well prepared and in working order for our arrival. Will definitely stay here again.

A little congested - but WORTH IT!

Lots of (positive) construction going on in the area, which made travel a bit of a hassle, but if you were just walking to the beach or one of the great restaurants nearby, it was not an issue. The house itself was the right size for our family of 4, and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Had never stayed in a house with both an upstairs/downstairs rentals, but did not have any issues with noise from the 'upstairs' neighbors. This is a great location, would not hesitate to stay here again!
