If you don't ski, just enjoy the beautiful panoramic mountain vistas, explore the White Mountains and relax in front of the roaring fire. Although we are approaching the winter season this house is truly a four season favorite. Ask your questions to find out all it has to offer (two public 18 hole Golf Courses, Yoga and a Brewery close by) and then book for your special stay. The fall season is now coming to a close and many visitors enjoyed the changing colors of the leaves. Now those colors will turn to purple and pinks with the white of the snow. . Every person who rents this house cannot even put into words how beautiful and spectaculars these views are to see. You will be amazed when the sun comes up and then when the sun comes down. In the summer you can sit on the lovely deck as you enjoy a cool drink or have dinner underneath the stars. Relax after your day of hiking, golfing or swimming including visiting the surrounding towns. Bethlehem with its lovely small town feel, restaurants, yoga studio, antique shops is just waiting for you to explore. Take a leisurely stroll and check out the historic movie theatre. Littleton nearby has a beautiful Main Street, lots of fun shops and a variety of places to eat including a brewery, Schillings, right on the flowing river. Suger Hill is a historic, quiet New England Town and you must try Pollys for their pancakes. There is so much to do you will never be bored. After so much fun remember you get to come home where you can take a long bath in the spa bathroom, cook up a wonderful dinner in the open kitchen, play games with the family or just enjoy the peace and quiet. Then it is off to sleep in the comfortable and cozy bedrooms only to wake up and do it all again. We have many returning renters and you will never forget your stay at Presidential View House.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful place, views and area. Snowmobile trails 1/4 mile down the road, we road out of the driveway. Satellite internet is fast and Bose radio system made for great back round music. Plenty of room, use of the garage to get your car out of the cold a plus. Plenty of firewood for the awesome fire place and there is even wood for an outdoor fire pit. Well worth the stay and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely view, great fireplace, and very cute decor!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great friend-reunion weekend at Kate and Gary's NH house this weekend. The house is beautiful and the view of the mountains is lovely. We had a lot of fun skiing at Cannon despite it being a little icy - perfect mountain for a very mixed skill level group. The only hiccup with our stay was the gas tank being empty when we arrived, but the owners were great about getting it filled right away so we had heat and hot water within a matter of hours. As far as improvement ideas go, I think the loft would be perfect for a ping pong/ air hockey / pool table, and some more bunk beds could definitely fit in downstairs or in the loft. A hot tub would be a great addition as well. We had a lovely weekend with great company - played lots of board games by the fire at night and skied ourselves sore all day. Thanks for having us!

Great views and lovely house!

  • 4 of 5

A group of friends and I stayed here this past New Year's weekend (total of 5 adults) and it was great. The house was beautiful and everything was in place just as Kate had said it would be. Kate was fantastic at responding to issues quickly and effectively (we didn't have internet because of the weather, which wasn't an "issue" until football Sunday haha). The fireplace was amazing and used all weekend long due to the sub zero temps that weekend (PLENTY of wood stockpiled in the garage). We had enough space to relax given that we weren't venturing out to the nearby mountains to hit the slopes.

The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wouldn't really call this a 3 bedroom house. There were enough beds for 6 people (two queens and a bunk bed) so sleeping room wasn't a problem. The main upstairs living area has the two bedrooms, but the downstairs room was more of an extra living space (couch, TV, full bathroom) with a set of bunk beds. There was no door to this downstairs room, so you can easily hear what's going on in the main living area up the stairs (only problematic if you're the first to bed or last to wake up). Given that set-up, the house would probably be better for 4 adults accompanied with children rather than more adults.

But overall, we had a great time and would definitely consider going back - hopefully in warmer months so we can enjoy the beautiful views from the deck!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your great review and it was a delight working with you too. We hope you come back in the warmer months. As per your suggestion regarding "what will call the Bunk Room" we do get many families with children. In the winter ski months though we also get groups who want to come with more friends. We are honest that this room is open and that even "grown-ups" will have to sleep in bunk beds. I imagine there are a lot of Drawing of Straws. HA! We also have the loft but don't promote that because when the beautiful stone fireplace is ablaze, it is simply too hot. Some believe staying with a big group is part of the whole experience of a good ole fashioned ski trip. We never book more than eight people though even when they ask for more friends to stay. Thank you again and Happy New Year.

Views to write home about!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this home! First off, it was very clean and comfortable. The home is well furnished and cozy. We didn't get a chance to use the fireplace but the grand stone fireplace is quite the centerpiece of the home. Our favorite part of our stay was the views! The constantly changing skyline offers unlimited picture perfect views! The sunrise was amazing! The owner was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

Gorgeous views, comfy & clean home - we'll be back!

  • 4 of 5

The house and location were perfect. We had a family weekend here with cousins and grandparents and there were plenty of comfy sleeping areas, the kids loved playing on the deck and having a bonfire in the fire pit. The kitchen was perfect for big family meals and at night the adults could kick back around the indoor fireplace and relax. Thank you Kate for a wonderful stay!
