It is an outdoor floor whole apartment with original features such as its lamps, very comfortable in an protected historic building in Madrid in a short, wide street with hardly traffic and a double row of ancient trees, in the exclusive neighborhood of Chamberí, an apartment with all amenities, and only four metro stops from Sol, with the oldest blue metro line passing through the old Chamberí metro station, now a museum. Does not precise air conditioning (cool in summer ) given to its good orientation, highly protected by the other buildings, double row of ancient huge trees and large double glazed windows. The heating is hardly needed in winter (warm apartment in winter) for the same reasons. Several car parkings available very close (not included). Three double bedrooms. A practical modern bathroom with very large shower. A lounge with TV Canal Satellite Movistar.. Master bedroom: double bed. Second room: two beds of 80cm that can be used together at the same height or just reduce them to one. Third room: bed-sofa that can be used as a bedroom or living room. Main living room with sofa bed and chaise longue. Dining room with an expandable dining table. Travel cot, high chair and fall-barrier. Toys and games for children and adults. Children 0-1 years free. Bright white modern kitchen very nice with dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, oven, microwave, iron, etc ... spacious closets and everything necessary for cooking and eating. Wireless high-speed fiber optic Movistar. Reinforced door. It has a huge terrace balcony with sweeping views from the street where the building is located and ends in a beautiful square (Plaza Olavide with their tapas / pinchos) with underground parking, traditional antique shops, gardens, bars and terraces on its surface. The apartment has linens, towels, toilet paper, hair dryer, etc .. in short everything you need for a comfortable stay. The building offers garbage collection by the concierge on labor days (20h to 20h30), intercom on the street, spacious modern elevator and access for disabled or elderly people. The area is excellent with three main metro stations very near (Iglesias, Quevedo, Canal) and buses (one, 37, stops in front of the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum) has many shops, a traditional market, restaurants, theaters, parks, gardens, a synagogue, library, police, large sports facilities (including golf) for all kinds of sports. The neighborhood is very quiet and every year celebrates the feast of the Virgen del Carmen with his open-air dance. Minimum nights stay depending on seasons from 1 up to 2. This apartment can have up to 8 guests. Bookings should be done at least 2 days before entry.

I bought this property a long time ago and lived in it for about 15 years. The area is just perfect with plenty of restaurants, shops, markets, metro stations, cinemas, theaters, parks, etc.... not far from the airport

What makes this apartment unique

You will be able to enjoy the real spanish classical life in Madrid, and would be near the touristic area to walk to


Car: not necessary

Very well communicated by bus, underground, taxis within the dowtown or with the airport.

Plenty of parks, restaurants, groceries, food markets, playgrounds, etc....

Wonderful Apartment

Apartment is beautiful, very clean and for Madrid all modern and appeared to be recently remolded. Great wifi, plenty of room for a grown family of four to stretch out. The kitchen has everything anyone would need. The location is quiet, safe, and close to everything in Madrid, metro, local restaurants ( Great local food for true American foodie since we do not due Tourist Traps) , grocery and fresh breads a 5 min walk from apartment. We took 21 trips on the metro two stations minutes walk very easy. We are use to a single home 3 bathrooms so it took a few days to coordinate one small bathroom but that would be typical for Europe. Montserrat who managed the apartment was very accommodating excellent service. We landed at 7 am and she was able to wave the published check-in, meet us early and truly started our vacation off on a positive note.

Comfortable and clean aparment in a beautiful spanish environment

The apartment was very clean and all of the listed equipment was available. The landlady was very nice and we could easily rearrange our arriving and departuare time. The surrounding of the apartment is typically spanish and the bakery and the supermarket are only a few meters away from the department. There are also many nice bars and little restaurants a few streets away and it was always a pleasant silent and comfortable environment. Three subway stations are near the apartment, so you can easily reach the center of Madrid by subway.

Buena relación calidad-precio

El apartamento esta situado en una zona tranquila con buena comunicación con el centro tanto a pie como en bus. El apartamento es sencillo pero limpio. Las zonas de estar son amplias y luminosas. La cocina está bien surtida. Las habitaciones con el mobiliario básico. El baño es pequeño pero con luz natural y bien aprovechado. En los alrededores hay comercio y bares y aparcamientos para el coche. La propietaria fue muy amable y pudimos entrar antes de la hora convenida. Lo recomendaria para familias.
