Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing and idyllic stay at this cabin! Everyone had a bed and was super cozy - which for a large group pf 13 can be difficult. The hot tub directly looks over the river which is gorgeous to wake up to and it snowed our second day at the cabin. Celeste made sure we extra comfortable, allowing us to arrive early (which was needed as this was a surprise birthday event and we needed to set up) and allowed up to stay late. We were 15-20 min drive to Mt. Hood brewery and xcountry ski trails. What a great weekend adventure - would HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking to have a peaceful group outing in the mountains.

a great vacation home at the mountain

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed another long weekend and Celeste was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. There were some noticeable improvements from last year as well which were great to see! We hope to make it back again next year!

Better than the pictures!

  • 5 of 5

No offense to the person taking the pictures for VRBO but I expected it to be a bit dark inside and was pleasantly surprised on how light and bright it was. We had our family sibling gathering and had plenty of room, hot tub was great and falling asleep with the sound of the river was especially nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay by the river!

  • 4 of 5

We have stayed here before and it is an excellent place when it comes to location and set up. There are 2 large master bedrooms each with a bathroom separated by a large kitchen and living room that looks out on the river and a 1/2 bath. Upstairs there are 2 more full bedrooms and then another room without a door that can sleep a few more people. One more bathroom upstairs. This place is clean and cozy.

The 4 stars is mainly because the pellet stove was empty so we had to go and buy pellets for it. We left the remainder there. (I would rate it 4.5 overall if I could)

The house is also lacking in some basic kitchen commodities such as cooking oil.

So if you are planning on staying here I would probably bring your own necessities since there is no guarantee it will be there. We were prepared this time as this was our 2nd visit.

Overall it is a great place and I would recommend people stay here.

Perfection

  • 5 of 5

Imagine the most important decision of your day being whether to play billiards upstairs or sit in the hot tub. Imagine picture windows so expansive that you couldn't get much closer to the snowfall and still be in your slippers. This is the most perfect house for a group, and it is also perfecting for sneaking in a little alone time to watch the river flow by. It was our second time renting this cabin, and if I have my way, it will not be the last.
