absoluatley wonderful cabin

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful cabin! We never wanted to leave. The cabin setting in the woods was so quiet and serene at all times. We saw deer on the property, the kids loved the swing outside, we all loved the fact that the cabin was a real log cabin. There were fire places to make cozy fires in the evening. So much space inside and outside the cabin. The owner was very friendly as well. He came early (before check in time) to accommodate our early arrival. He surprised us with orange juice, organic eggs and wonderful raisin bread. He also was absolutely wonderful in getting us settled and giving us tips on what to do.

There was only 1 little downside to our stay. The shower was not working very well. The kids didn't mind though :).

We absolutely recommend this place. We'll definately come again!

Beautiful setting, peaceful

  • 4 of 5

Cozy cabin on Bly Mtn pass enjoyed by the whole family! I rented this cabin for two weeks and my adult sons were able to visit intermittently. Snuggled with the grandbaby on the hammock under the trees which ended his fussiness every time! We had plenty of room even when all three sons and their partners were there. Single bathroom but there is an outhouse when occupied. (No overpowering smelliness noticed). Plenty of pots, pans, and dishes plus a barbeque grill on the back porch. Benches on the porch and a small patio on the other end of the cabin made enjoying the outdoors even more enjoyable. Deer in the back yard at night, a big fat cat living in the barn. A pathway around the property was nice for early morning walks. The cabin is about an hour from Crater Lake, not to be missed! We found snow in July, enough for the big "kids" to slide down.

We selected this property for its peaceful setting yet good road access. Klamath Falls is only 25 minutes away. We also went to the little general store in Bonanza but don't count on it to have what you need (out of coffee filters). They have a relatively large selection of beer and wine for a small store, plus some hard liquor behind the counter.

The ladies spent one afternoon at a spa in Klamath, we all visited Crater Lake, some of us visited Lava Beds. The whole point was to relax and do very little; we accomplished this!

Picturesque cabin, sunset view perfect place to un

  • 5 of 5

Ron was kind enough to meet us in town and let us follow him up to the cabin which was tucked away, off the grid, exactly what we were looking for. We arrived at dusk so after the tour and instructions we had a cocktail in hand and we're out back enjoying the sunset. We brought our dogs with us, and next time maybe we'll even bring the kids. There is a tire swing, hammock, space for badminton (which we brought) and both evenings we hung out on the patio. The kitchen was well stocked and I cooked all our meals with ease. We were there for the Zipline Adventure so that was just an hour and 20 mins away. We plan to come back to explore the area a bit more. Two sitting areas in the cabin make for many great places to nap, and comfy blankets to curl up in are everywhere. Thanks again. We loved it!

Clean and cozy!!!!

  • 4 of 5

We were pleasantly surprised to meet the owners upon arrival! We had four children and four adults, it was a comfortable fit. Loved being able to prepare our own meals in the open kitchen and on the back deck using the BBQer. Location of the cabin is about an hour from Crater Lake.. Not bad! The only thing that would have been super helpful was written instructions on how to close up when leaving. Cell phone service is super spotty at the cabin, and we didn't receive closing instruction until we were miles away. Only complaint. Thank you, for alowing our family to enjoy such a beautiful space. Mahalo!!!!

Perfectly Nestled Slice of Heaven!

  • 5 of 5

Of all the places that I have rented on VRBO, this is my favorite. We were greeted by Ron, who went out of his way to bring the key to us late at night, since our drive was lengthy and we were on the road all day. He showed us the way to the property in the dark, to ensure we did not get lost. When we got there, our host had brought breakfast groceries for us to use the next morning. This was incredibly thoughtful, as we did not have the opportunity to go shopping on the drive there. The property was so serene and calming. It was perfect for a stroll in the sun or just relaxing in the yard. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed running around the large area of land as well. It was about 1 hour 30 mins to Lava Beds and about the same to Crater Lake. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what was needed to rejuvenate the soul. Thanks so much Ron. We will definitely be looking forward to visiting your house again!

Mountain Retreat

  • 4 of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed this cabin from the inside out! It's cedar charm filled every room. The separation of the sitting room and den afforded a great opportunity for adults and kiddos to mix and mingle as much as they'd like. The bunk beds were every bit as delightful as one could hope. The acreage, tire swings, and fresh snow made for a perfect and private winter wonderland to be explored. We made great use of a sledding hill just across the street. Ron and Vickey did a great job of supplying endless hours of board games and crafts galore for my nieces and nephews. I can't wait to see this place in the summer!
