**ROOFTOP deck provides a 360-degree view of the area, including the Malibu shoreline from Point Dume in the north all the way down to Palos Verdes in the south, along with Catalina and the Channel Islands.

Paraíso del Mar Malibu is located on one of the most desirable stretches of oceanfront property in Southern California. If what you are looking for is a true Malibu beach house experience, it does not get any better than this! This “Paradise of the Sea” is a four story, 2,500sq/ft. luxury ocean front house with amenities normally found at one of the finest properties in the area with accommodations usually reserved for the most demanding vacationers. This extraordinary 4 bedroom, 3.5 baths Oasis can accommodate up to 10 people.

The First Level contains a 500 sq./ft. Trax deck that is 10 feet above the beach and ocean and includes a 6 person Hot Tub. In addition to the deck area there is a 500 sq./ft. gameroom with Brunswick Pool Table, game table(pool, air hockey, ping pong), sofa, and a large flatscreen television. A two seat Kayak, Boogie Boards, Fishing Poles are also made available for tenant use.

Level Two is the main living area with street access. This stunning floor includes a full kitchen with all Viking appliances; solid wood cabinets, Brazilian Blue Granite counter tops, and an “L” shaped counter surrounding the kitchen that seats 7 comfortably. Also on Level Two is the living room with a fireplace encased in gorgeous Red Quartz, fronted by 2 chaise lounges, which open to a queen bed, a full sleeper couch, and love seat. The couch combos sleep 4 comfortably. Above this outstanding fireplace is a large flatscreen television with Blu-ray video and surround sound audio systems. The living room looks out to the beautiful Pacific Ocean through full floor to ceiling doors that open up to another outside balcony that includes a full see-through glass wall allowing a full, unobstructed view of the ocean. Between the living room and kitchen is a spacious dining room table. A half bathroom serves this area of the floor. Towards the front of the house is a one-car garage and a guest Bedroom with sleeper sofa, wardrobe, a flatscreen television and a full size bathroom with both a shower and bathtub.

On Level Three is another guest Bedroom, the Master Bedroom, and outside Balcony. The guest bedroom has twin bunk beds with a Trundle Bed along with a Queen Size Bed and large Flatscreen Television. A full size Bathroom with a shower and bathtub serves the guest bedroom. The Master Bedroom includes a flatscreen television located above a beautiful Red Quartz encased fireplace. The Master Bedroom also includes a library/sitting nook in front of the fireplace and a wall of glass that overlooks the attached balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. The Master Bathroom includes a separate toilet closet, a large Steam Shower with rain ceiling nozzle and standard shower nozzle and a Jacuzzi Bathtub. The Steam Shower easily accommodates 5 people comfortably.

A spiral staircase on Level 3 takes you up to Level 4, the Rooftop. This is a very special place at Paraíso del Mar. The Rooftop includes a Cupola (4th Bedroom) that includes a built-in closet, a sofa bed, wardrobe, a small refrigerator, and flatscreen television. The remainder of the rooftop is a deck with lounge chairs, sofas and umbrella. The rooftop deck provides a full 360-degree view of the area, including the Malibu shoreline from Point Dume in the north all the way down to Palos Verdes in the south, along with Catalina and the Channel Islands. On a warm evening, the rooftop doubles as the sleeping area.

In addition to everything described above, all flooring throughout the house is imported Tiger bamboo hardwood. And all walls are covered with luxurious Venetian plaster. The entire house has central air conditioning and heating. Approx 150 Feet North of the Property is a private dry sand beach. Paraíso del Mar will certainly prove to be a Paradise experience, and prove that dreams do come true...

Perfect beachfront getaway!

We spent a lovely weekend at this gorgeous home with the ocean waves literally crashing below us. The views from every level were just incredible! There is an amazing rooftop deck from which you can sit and enjoy stunning scenery up and down the coast - and below the house there is a jacuzzi that looks straight out onto the Pacific. It was a dream!

The house was spotless and the owners were super sweet and helpful. They told us about this private beach about 100 feet from the property that we had all to ourselves. One night we cooked dinner in the beautiful, brand-new kitchen and ate overlooking the water, and the other night we walked to Moonshadows, which is about two minutes away, for a fantastic seafood dinner. This property literally is in the most perfect location!

All in all, Paraiso Del Mar was an ideal spot for the perfect, relaxing, beach vacation! We will definitely be back!!

Not ideal for more than 6 adults.

In writing this review, I realize there are things I wished we knew before booking the house, so am sharing here (along with a few other notes).

1. There are 3 bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a king-size bed, and faces the ocean. The other 2 are in the back of the house, right on the PCH, which gets loud starting at around 6am on a weekday morning. 1 of these bedrooms has a queen and a bunk bed. The other a pullout sofa. The last bed is in the main living area, and is also a pullout sofa. So if you have 10 adults, 4 are sleeping on pullout sofas, with 2 sleeping in the main living area. (Suggestion to owner: a mattress pad might help make the pullouts more comfortable).

2. The house doesn't get much light or air. The main room on the first floor has a sliding door, but there is no screen on it, so by night you can't leave it open or all the bugs start flying in, attracted to the light. There IS air conditioning in the house, but you can't change the temperature, you can only choose heat/air/none. Temp I think was set at 72. It got very stuffy in the main room with 10 people.

3. There is a roofdeck, but it only allows 8 people at a time, which isn't mentioned in the listing. So good to know if you're going with 10 like we did, b/c your only option then is the main living room with no air.

4. The only toiletry in the bathrooms is bar soap. I don't really blame them for that, but it's a good thing to know. I'm used to vacation houses having basics like shampoo, so just FYI.

5. We had a few issues when we got there--wrong keys for the game room, a leak under a sink, and no laundry detergent. Jocelyne was very prompt on the first two, and suggested we buy detergent (to be reimbursed) on the third. We never got around to it. I bring it up b/c she mentioned on the phone that it happened previously and she'd told the contractor they needed to get it. Some of the sheets/towels had a stink to them, which is why we wanted to do a load, so we did wonder if they'd been washed without detergent.

Jocelyne was very nice and responsive, but I don't think this house is ideal for 10 adults. I think 6 adults would work, or a family with kids. We picked this house for the hot tub, which was underwhelming. It's below deck, and since there are houses right next to each other, many with construction, that's what you see. Plus, lots of beach bugs, esp with all the construction. Not their fault, but good to know.

Delux waterfront townhose on highway 1

This home is definitely unique with some luxurious features and in a special place in the world.

We were 3 adults and 2 children for four nights in July. Our final rate was just above $6,000 for the stay. We justified this against the cost of two hotel rooms at a near by luxury hotel, which would have been about $4,000. In retrospect, I probably would not have chosen to spend this much on the property as I don't think the value matched the price, despite it being a very nice house. The house is on a beach front during low tide. During high tide, which was from about 6 p.m through the wee hours of the night, 3 a.m. or so, the waves crash directly below the house. You hear a lound rumble with each crashing wave, it is not a distant sound of ocean, the whole house rumbles. The whole row of these townhouses is built on a uniform steel support frame, that looks sturdy, so structurally it looked ok.

The master bedroom is very well appointed, the shower has a steam room in it, there's a high end washer and dryer for clothes, and enough towels to keep everyone happy.

The room I stayed in with the kids has the queen size bed with bunk beds. This one backs to the highway, it has a tiny window way up at the top of the wall. You can hear some traffic, it's not terribly loud. But the A/C unit installed just at the door is quite loud, so between the two it's a room for sound sleepers. The bedding was pretty good, IKEA type, well used, but clean.

The kitchen was moderately well appointed, has great appliances but not a very well thought through stock for short term guests. There was half a roll of paper towels and no spare trash bags. Some condiments, possibly stuff some people had left behind rather than a fit for purpose set up for new guests. We did make a trip to the grocery store, but hadn't thought to check the specifics on what was missing before we went. For the price we paid, I feel that a minimum welcome kit would have been in order, but maybe that is just the price for this area? There is a long list of required tasks for check-out so be prepared to spend time. (Maybe ask for the list ahead of booking). Also the door locked us out (code stopped working) at 10 a.m. sharp, so don't let the door close if you are loading anything at checkout time. We had an hour extension, thanks to the owner being graceous, but our code stopped working anyway so we were locked out in nothing but bathers. The hot tub is nice and a good perk. We didn't use the game room

Perfection! Ideal place for a getaway with friends

The house was the PERFECT spot for a get together with friends/family. We loved that the kitchen was spacious enough, fit with Viking appliances, for us to cook some meals at home and enjoy the view.

The waves crashing against the rocks while sitting on any of the three floors was a dream come true and catching rays on the roodeck couldnt be beat!! Great place for morning yoga.

Definitely would go back!!

Fantastic place for relaxing girls getaway

Our group of nine had an amazing stay!

The property comfortably fit everyone with ample bathroom space. We booked a few meals at the home and loved the Viking appliances.

Moonshadows being next door is amazing - casual enough for the group but with beautiful views, great food, and fire pits in the evening.

Beautiful location with stunning views, would definitely recommend!
