There were 6 of us traveling for a girls trip and we were all super happy with this property. The photos are accurate and the location was phenomenal. We all felt comfortable in our respective spaces and condo was stocked with key items for cooking and cleaning. While we traveled during the "wet season" we found that the lack of crowd during this time of year was perfect for us. Wayne and Julian were super helpful through the entire week getting us to and from places (there are additional fees for transports to and from the airport); offering a personalized tour of the island as well. We truly felt at home and didn't want to leave. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic experience in Barbados. From all 6 of us, THANK YOU!!!!
Had a wonderful stay at 302 Ocean1. Beautiful apartment, perfectly placed, great service, and private. Thank you Selma.
The property is very well maintained and has an excellent beach but somewhat limited compared to other islands where the beaches stretch seem to gone for every. Great condo (but a little hard to work the TV remote control)
Definitely enjoyed the trip and would consider going back.
First class accommodation and service start to finish. Easy and timely communication with Selma who couldn’t have been more helpful. Transfers to and from airport relaxed and efficient. Apartment everything you can want for especially the ice machine which was in constant use 😄. Location perfect for beach, St Lawrence Gap and Oistins. Taxis easily available if you aren’t into walking. Supermarkets within easy reach by car and if you don’t mind a short walk too. Great to have the “starter pack of groceries” on arrival.
Sad to leave it’s been such a relaxing g and comfortable holiday.
This property was amazing and accommodating. Everything from start to finish was a beautiful experience and EXACTLY like the pictures and what was offered. Round trip airport transportation with Wayne was great! The starters groceries was just what we needed, condo was fully stock. WiFi and phone for local calling was a plus and the direct tv had every channel you can think of. I must thank Selma, this was by far the best VRBO I have ever booked!
Thank you! Please visit us again if you are ever in Barbados
Only keeps getting better and better.
TOP THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO VISIT IN BARBADOS
A) Codrington College: this was built in the 1700s and is one of the oldest Anglican theological colleges in the Western Hemisphere. It is a beautiful place to take pictures, stroll around or even walk with your basket of goodies and enjoy a picnic.
B) St. Nicholas Abbey: it is on the three remaining Jacobean mansions in the Western Hemisphere that comes with a lot of historic background, so ask for Simon Warrens, he will keep you interested with his great stories that would make your visit memorable. The tour includes viewing of the house, surroundings, distillery and rum tasting.
C) North Point: This is by far one of the most beautiful spots on the island. Picturesque views from all around, great for taking pictures. While you are there visit the Animal Flower Cave and get a tour of the underground cave.
D) Harrison's Caves: Barbados is made entirely of limestone and is full of caves. Harrison's Cave is the most discovered and amazing attractions, one of the gems of Barbados.
E) Little Bay: Secluded and tucked away lies this beautiful beach. Climb around the bay head into the private rock pool facing the full mighty of the Atlantic Ocean. Pack your coolers with some sandwiches, drinks and enjoy a relaxing day in simple tranquillity.
F) Bathsheba: Legend has it that Bathsheba, wife of King David, bathed in milk to keep her skin beautiful and soft. It is breathtakingly beautiful with wide white sand beaches stretch along a dramatic coastline but be aware of the waves as it can become very rough. Also a great spot for a picnic, picture-taking and just enjoying this amazing place!
G) Surfing and Stand Up Paddling: There are plenty of places to surf in Barbados depending on your level of experience. Both are very enjoyable and can be easily accessible on Peach Beach.
H) Cool Runnings Catamaran Cruise: This is one my favorite tours on the island. It includes snorkeling, swimming with fishes, viewing of a ship wreck, feeding turtles, lunch snacks and beverages. Booking can be made in advance with me.
I) Oistin Fish Fry: Enjoy fresh grilled fish, lobster, shrimp & mahi mahi , every day of the week at 6:30pm and onwards.
J) St. Lawrence Gap: Located on the south coast of Barbados, some of the best restaurants with a wide range of different cuisine such as; Authentic, Indian, Thai, Italian and Bajan as well as night clubs etc…only 5 mins drive and 20 minute walking distance.
