Beautiful home, wonderful vacation!
Our family (my husband and our four year old) stayed here with our friends (a family of 4), and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of room for everyone. The house was beautiful and open with gorgeous views of the lake. Any questions we had were answered promptly and kindly by the owner. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware and cookware There are stairs down to the private dock so we could swim/float and relax by the water. My four year old wanted me to add that one of her favorite parts of the trip were the sunrises and sunsets that sparkle on the lake (literally her words) and I'd agree. Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Highly Disappointed
The water smelled so bad we gagged when we turned it on. Do not plan on showering or taking a bath. We had to brush our teeth outside with water bottles. The stairs going up and down to the dock were unsafe especially if you have children. Also, do not plan on carrying anything down and up. (Coolers, tubes, etc.) Good leg burn if you like working out… The owner was very rude on the phone. I have the feeling he does not like renting out his place. At the end of the trip he tried to blame us for a stain on the rug and broken binoculars. (Which no one touched because we didn’t know they were even there) I would take pictures of the whole house once you arrive and leave and plan on possibly not getting your deposit back. Pretty sure we are not going to get ours back even though we paid for the 5000 insurance policy. If it was actually something we did break or mess up I would have no issue saying it was but it was 100% not. Overall, we will never stay here again and hope you don’t make the same mistake we did.

We would absolutely stay at Two Rivers again
My wife, six friends, and I recently stayed at Two Rivers. The house was spacious and perfect for this size of group. The house and property were very clean. Working and communicating with the owner was easy. He was responsive and friendly. We would absolutely stay at Two Rivers again.

We built Two Rivers in 2007 and absolutely love it and enjoy sharing it! We hope you will enjoy our lake house, take care of it, and come back often! The pictures you have seen on this site were taken when the lake level was at 680ft. - the lake level as of 6/1/20 was 672! In the past 12 years we have never been unable to use our boat or dock!

Why they chose this property

Our family had been boating and waterskiing around Pace Bend Park for a decade before we built Two Rivers. We loved the area so much we decided to make it a permanent part of our family's life.

What makes this property unique

The name we gave our lake house, Two Rivers, comes from the natural beauty and fantastic views created by the Pedernales and Colorado rivers flowing together. Very few properties are able to enjoy these views! Every room in the house has a view of water - honest!
