This place is a true diamond. being on the water, having a fire. This was the perfect place to spend our anniversary from SEPTEMBER 15-18th. The neighbors were awesome, time to the small towns are great. We were able to pick up everything we needed. The cabin was roomie. AND JUST WARM, the wood on the inside is so pretty.. we loved this little cabin... we shall return :)
Beautiful sunsets, lovely neighbors, spacious and well appointed rental home. We will definaty go back.
Peaceful and quiet with great sunsets...short drive to a wide array of activities for all ages. ("Ride the River" speedboat out of the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton is a must) Well kept cottage in lovely location. We did not miss AC. Ceiling fans in all rooms including large porch and breezes from the lake kept the cottage cool and nice. Large maple trees provided shaded areas at different times through the day. This cottage offers so much for such a reasonable price. Photos are accurate presentation of the property.
Quiet corner-ish lot. Clean and comfortable cottage. Out in the water is where this location really shines. The dock is on a slab of rock. Not great for boats if the water level is low, but awesome for wading. Then there's about 100 yards of 3'-4' sandy bottom area perfect for swimming, playing, and/or relaxing. All around great place.
We stayed in Leora's Cabin for a week and enjoyed our stay there. Fishing all week and eating out each night. Pit fire on the water was a welcome destressor from the work life. Very quiet area. Small shower. Only addition I could think of would be wifi access so we could have booked the next dates while we were there. Other than that, the property manager was pleasant to deal with as were the owners. All emails were responded to in a timely fashion. We hope to be renters again in the near future.
Nicely kept cabin on the water....with nice neighbors........water around dock a little bit shallow for boats with any draft....Overall a nice place to stay...clean.....with great sunsets.....would stay here again.
