2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, two-story condo with patio and beautiful backyard

Walk or take your bikes everywhere from this little part of Paradise, you will never need a car. Located in beautiful Old Town, you are virtually 2 blocks from from Duval Street with shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Tastefully appointed with vintage rattan furniture and fully stocked with everything you will need in a newly redecorated kitchen with popular granite countertops. Bathrooms have been recently renovated with white vessel sinks which add to the contrast of vintage and contemporary decor. Walk out your back gate and you will enter the pool area with a heated pool that does not exceed 5 feet deep. Sit outside to people watch from one of our 2 balconies or the friendly front porch where conversations ensue with the passerbys. The bedrooms each have queen size beds and tv's, and there is a comfortable folding bed in the closet if you need additional sleeping accommodations. We also have two complementary bikes for your use as well to save you the cost of rentals. We have free wifi as well.

About Kerry Higginbotham

Bob and I got married in Key West in 2013 after vacationing here with my brother and sister-in-law (who live here) for years. We reside in Webster Groves, MO and come down as often ans we can. I grew up in Deerfield Illinois a suburb of Chicago and Bob is a native St. Louisian, where we met and started dating 22 years ago. We love the active style of Key West and the attitude that presides there.

Key West has the unique style of" Live and let Live" that we treasure and wish to abide by. The friendly people, the "laid back" style of living, the perfect climate and the close beaches, make Key West the perfect place to go.

What makes this condo unique

Travelling to Key West and bicycling through Truman Annex was a favorite pastime for us. The cute condos with their pastel colors and front porches just looked so inviting, and so"un-condo" like. When my brother and sister-in-law decided to move there, Truman Annex was their choice for a place to live. Six years later they called and said one was for sale close to them so we jumped on the opportunity.

  • We have one full bathroom upstairs with two vessel sinks and a bathtub-shower. Downstairs is a 1/2 bath. Both have been recently renovated.

Very nice property, great location

The place was great. It's in a great location. We walked to both sides of the island. Barely needed a car. The place was clean and we felt like we were at home. The pool couldn't have been any more convenient. Right out the back door and into the pool. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Thanks.

The Apple of your Eye in Key West had all the charm we love about Key West.

The condo was clean well stocked and close to the beach at Fort Zach...our number one priority.

We have been coming to Key West on vacation for 8 years now and this was our favorite unit.

We loved being over the pool in back and people watching from the front porch.

The owner, Kerry was very responsive an all important factor when using Vrbo.

We hope to reserve this unit again next year.

Great location, very nice kitchen, beds are comfortable

Owner was great to work with, very timely with communication. Kitchen was very nice and fully stocked. Both rooms had large beds that were very comfortable. Location was perfect-close to duval street, but not too close. Fort Taylor state park is near the unit.

Excellent location, clean well equipped property. We enjoyed being right on Southard.

Perfect location in Truman Annex right on Southard. Home was very comfortable and clean and well equipped. The community pool was steps off the back porch and great people watching off the front porch but quiet for sleeping. Highly recommend this property. Will return.

We are three blocks from Ft. Zachary Beach with scenic pinetrees that provide welcome shade on a hot day and is at the intersection of the Gulf and the Atlantic Ocean. Watch the cruise ships as they come into the docking area, climb the rock formations or play in the turquoise water. Two blocks away is Duval Street where there are endless shops, restaurants, and the famous Butterfly museum. Bike rentals are within a block and riding around the island is a great way to sight see and plan out future activities. Nearly every water sport is available at Higgs or Smather"s Beach (just a bike ride away) and you might even see a wedding while visiting there.(My husband and I got married at Smathers a couple of years ago) People watching is great at the Willy T's on Duval and they have live music at all hours of the day (not to mention the best Mojito in town).

YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. We rent on a Sat. - Sat. night basis and require by Key West law a 7 night stay.
