About Paolo Guglielmi

I am a marine biologist working for the conservation of biodiversity in the Mediterranean Sea. I worked 5 years for Greenpeace, 15 years for WWF and 5 for the United Nations Environment Programme.

I am 100% Roman and in love for the Ethernal City and its coastline even if always lived in an intrenational and multi-cultural environment.

Paolo Guglielmi purchased this apartment in 1903

Why Paolo Guglielmi chose Rome Province

Enjoy the sea at its best. Breath marine breeze and fill your eyes with blue every morning by looking outside on the balcony. Go downstairs, get on the beach and swim in the place that Nero had choosed as a residence. Enjoy full beauty of an ancient building completely restored (2015) and the pleasure and confort of a modern fitted apartment. Ideal location also off season and in winter for visiting Rome without stress.

What makes this apartment unique

While you can fully appreciate a beach/marine relaxing life, you can make daily trips to visit Rome by train (just 1 hour). On the way back, after long and tiring walkings and sightseeing, have a super relaxing swim in front of the apartment and then enjoy the busy nights in the colors and sounds of the village. Ideal location also off season and in winter for visiting Rome without stress.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is outstanding in terms of location, view and content. The private paring space is also a great asset. The Owner is always available and friendly and gives great ideas and tips. Strongly recommended both for stay at the beach and to be used as base to travel to Rome and around.

Dirty Apartment

★ ★ ★ ★ ★

I rented alot of apartments over the years and never was faced with filth like this,I had to buy cleaning supplies and do some cleaning myself the dishwasher was unusuable, the water ran out of it on the floor , I opened the oven and almost gagged some one cooked something on broiler amd it had been left in there for awhile, stuff was left in the refrigerator so i had to clean it out the hard part was cleaning the vegtable bins they were disgusting!! the pots and pans and silverware were all dirty,we were given two small bath towels for the 12 nights we were suppose to stay there and two hand towels, no weekly changing of the sheets so washed them myself they had holes and stains on them, extra pillows had no pillowcases for them, also this apartment is for sale so beware if you pay deposit and it sells nefore your arrival date you might be out the deposit and apartment on arrival!! Oh yes the view was good

Owner's Response: Dear Client, we are sorry that your feelings about our apartment were so negative when compared to those of other enthusiastic clients. If the level of cleanig was non stisfactory, you should have told us the first moment you entered the apartment and we would have immediately sent you the cleaning lady again. It is not fair to complain about this after your stay. This is the way a responsible and correct client behaves mainly for the benefit of its own holidays! All the other issues you are raising are simply RIDICULOUS and are probably due to misunderstandings in how to operate equipments and stuff. Let me re-insure all future potential clients that EVERYTHING is working perfectly in the apartment and that we are always ready to intervene quickly in case of any difficulty that may araise. This of course if we are told about promptly. Finally: the apartment is of course NOT on sale and your speculations about us frauding future clints are noxious, false and calumnious. In future, for your benefit, please think well before writing such accuses: you could be sued in tribunal.

let's add something!

Paolo has not told you that fantastic pizza is available nearby and that there is possibility to visit Ponza everyday with the fast boat it's 1 hour trip. Lovely icecreams and relaxing walks all year around, on top of that! Italian singers in Villa Adele perform all during the summer and ... believe me I spent many happy times there at Paolo's. giulia mollo, rome

Holiday to Anzio

  • 5 of 5

This was a fantastic holiday for our family!! The apartment is large enough, clean, well-kept and more importantly it has really breath taking sea view. The beach is just downstairs and all facilities like restaurant, shops and supermarket are 50 m away.

Anzio is a pleasant town and walking in the pedestrian area in the main square, along the harbor and along the coast is a pleasure.

You don't need any car because everything is at walking distance. Also this is an excellent starting point to visit Rome: the train took us in less than one hour just in the central station Termini, from where we walked everywhere in the historical center.

In conclusion: if you like the seaside and wish to enjoy it from a privileged position, while being one hour distance by train to the Eternal City, this is your choise!!!
