We live in Texas and have family in Saddlebrooke. Sheila is a computer software engineer, and Brian works for a nationwide shipping company.
Sheila Honey purchased this house in 2011
We fell in love with the area when we were visting family. We found the house and just knew it was the place to retire, so we bought it. The amenities in Saddlebrooke are terrific.
Wildlife viewing off the back yard; walking distance to the tennis courts, restaurant, and fitness center, and golf course. Winter weather can't be beat; cool nights and warm days. There is a gas grill on the patio; Hiking trailheads are quite near. There are several other fitness centers and restaurants in the Saddlebrooke community.
This nicely constructed older 2 BR house with a fantastic view of the Santa Catalina mountains from the patio, over two golf fairways and a desert ridge, with few houses
in between, is so relaxing and refreshing. A nice break from our other lives and the
activities elsewhere. Plus, the advantage of 4 clubhouses, 3 with restaurants and all kinds
of sports and social activities add to the enjoyment.
Spectacular view - if you want mountains and golf course....Deer, Quail, Coyotoes....this is the place. Very quiet...a plus for retirees. House is spacious. - comfortable, not fancy..the view is better than advertised! Well appointed, comfortably furnished. Saddlebrooke is several miles outside city - the drive is not bad and there are restaurants on site - groceries, gas etc if you don't want to leave. The restaurant at The Preserve has a first class chef - excellent and well priced....but go early! Oro Valley Marketplace has almost everything you need. Owner was very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
The property was very lovely and the mountain views were gorgeous. The home was a short walk from the pool, activity center and a great restaurant. Very quiet and relaxing setting. O would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives.
We stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it. The home and view exceeded our expectations. The owners were pleasent to work with. We would surely stay there again.
