My husband and I were there 8 nights and shared with a family of 4. The home itself is comfortable enough, however for the price that is charged I would have expected clean rugs (there were dark spots around the dining room table. We didn't have enough hangers in the closets and I was told that they expect travelers to bring there own (never heard that one before). The towels in the bathrooms are thin, rough and cheap - something I would use for rags. The toilet paper is one-ply and I asked the owner about it because I thought they were on a septic system and she said she bought it because of the lower cost. So...we went out and bought our own. The door handle to the oven fell off twice which made the front of the oven also fall forward so our husbands had to fix it both times. I notified the owner also that there were 3 lights out in the master bathroom, but no one came to put new ones in. When we got ready to BBQ dinner in the barbecue outside we found it was out of propane, so we had to go out and have it filled up. When trying to enjoy the backyard we had a large dog next door barking at us for about a 1/2 hr. the first time and after that not as long, but it was rather annoying. There is a small fire pit in the backyard but they also don't stock any wood so we had to go out and buy that also. I don't mean to be picky, but for the price I expected a little more and the lack of response of the owners was disappointing. Because of these things I gave it 3 stars.
This property was easy to get to and central to events in Payson. Home well maintained, equipped and we definitely will stay again. Quiet neighborhood. The only issue we had, was we were going to Barbecue on Friday evening and the grill had no gas...had to improvise. So definitely check that out before getting everything ready except the Steaks! Great property and above my expectations.
This is a beautiful and clean home with a nice layout, located in a great neighborhood. The kitchen was well organized with everything we needed during our stay and there was plenty of room for guests throughout the many rooms of the house. I definitely enjoyed our time here and will rent again the next time we're in Payson.
This home was perfect for our stay over the holidays. It was impeccably clean and roomy. The master bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, and the master bath was like a day at the spa. This would be a great place for large or extended families to stay.
We have really enjoyed two days in this home and it's easy access from highway.
We really enjoyed this home for our quick weekend away. It was spacious for two families...we even had extra room for more if we needed. Weven had an 8month old, 2 year old, 7 year old, 9 year old and a 10 year old and we all fit happily!
The house was stocked with everything we needed...including fire wood in the fire pit. We loved the open floor plan where we could hang out in "one space" while everyone could do their thing!
this house is in a residential neighborhood bUT it was a very nice neighborhood where everyone waived hello as we walked by :) although its not a secludef cabin feel it still had views as ylu walked the streets. We enjoyed the backyad with the huge trees and swing! However there is a few barking dogs who like to come up to the fence. Once they got used to us they didn't bark again the rest of the weekend.
The master is gorgeous however I would recommend getting a new box spring/bed frame...it was very noisy and at every turn it would "creek ". We actually put the mattress on the floor the second night and slept like babies. The shower/bathroom is superb and we felt spoiled.
Overall it was awesome! We would love to stay again and would recommend to everyone!
