Being guests of the “Villa Cliff House”, it's very easy to visit all the Amalfi Coast thanks to the privileged position of the structure.
Your vacation in going to be enriched by the myriads of sensations given by the views of the Divine Coast and Atrani .
From the privace terrace of the dépendance your eyes will be filled with one of the most enchanting panorama of the Amalfi Coast: the beach of the welcoming village of Atrani, overwhelmed by the tower of Santa Maria Maddalena's church.
Leaving the car in the private garage is a smart advise! Amalfi is just a fifteen minutes stroll away or you can get there taking a short bus ride.
Atrani, with its away from the crowds and characteristic restaurants, is just halfway between the villa and the small town that gives the name to the coast.
Ravello's center, with its stunning villas Rufolo and Cimbrone, is three hundred and fifty meters above the level of the sea and five kilometers away from the villa. One can get there by bus in fifteen minutes.
Once you park the car in the private garage and use the lift, you find yourself in front of a staircase that takes you to the main entrance of the dépendance.
The air-conditioned master bedroom has a double bed with a spacious wardrobe.
From the adjacent corridor, you've access to the functional bathroom with shower and the kitchen.
The latter provided a three burner stove, a microwave and all the utensils for basic cooking.
The large sea viewed windows make the dining room particularly bright.
It features a sofa bed for two extra guests, therefore the dépendance is the ideal for a small family.
A table with four chairs, a library with Italian and French books, a 20 inches TV with Italian and English channels complete the furniture. The area has air-con.
The wide terrace, partially in the shade of a majestic pine and partially exposed to the sun, has a stunning view over the fishermen village of Atrani.
The Vietri sul Mare tiled table is a real invitation for an “al fresco” dining or a relaxing reading.

Slightly above average at best is how I would describe this property. Being fair we arrived here for a 3 day stay after staying in some really nice hotels in Ischia, Capri and even Naples...so my expectations were high.
Emiliano was very accommodating, as was Massimo and Carmen. The view was nice, but the distance from the street level to the property and all the stairs was a bit alarming with all the luggage we had...(pack light). The elevator moves at a snails pace and only takes you up one level...the rest you must walk, you must be in shape to stay here.
Take your own towels, the one that were available looked as though the were at least 20 years old and very hard and dry (we went into Amalfi and purchased beach towels to dry off with). It is a short walk into Amalfi - but intimidating with the drivers in this area - note that pedestrians are expected to walk along the beach side of the street. This location is very convenient to the Sita bus stop.
I would recommend for those don't mind staying off the beat and path and with the items noted in the review. Also I received one quote and then another came after that a bit higher, so be sure to watch out for that.
The pictures really don't tell you the full story. This place is absolutely wonderful! The views from the oversized terrace are breathtaking. We had a small car so the garage was especially useful since parking along the Amalfi Coast can be a frustrating endeavor. Although walking up and down stairs is part of the experience, it was convenient to have an elevator to take you from the garage to the apartment. Furthermore, Emiliano is a pleasure to work with and he made several helpful suggestions and he was always willing to answer a text or phone call. Our short stay in this apartment was the highlight of our 13 day thrip to Italy!
Our family of 3 stayed at the Villa Cliff House for 8 nights and it was a great home base to explore the Amalfi Coast. The panoramic views from the expansive patio are priceless. Having a garage was perhaps the greatest convenience because parking on the street would have been a challenge. The apartment is nicely appointed with the modern conveniences one would hope for including Wifi. Given that it was incredibly hot while we were there, the great air conditioning was a plus! The manager, Emiliano, as well as, the housekeepers, Carmen and Massimo, will take good care of you and provide all the information you could want.
-Be prepared to climb a lot of steps, especially if you plan to go to the beach below which is approximately 120 steep steps (15-20 minute walk).
-The beaches on the Amalfi coast are very rocky, so many people where water shoes which we purchased.
-Emiliano, the manager, has a friend who has this boat company,http://www.boatsamalfi.it, which we highly suggest hiring for a few hours to get a special tour of the coast for very reasonable pricing.
-Given that there is a garage, having a car is a great way to avoid the crowded buses and really explore the coast. We never had a problem finding parking in the main ports.
Though you can walk to Amalfi, the highway requires you to use caution.
We truly hope to return to the Villa Cliff House again some day and highly recommend it!
We had a week at this lovely place and enjoyed it. Very good location, 10 mins walk to Atrini, a very typical Italian coastal town. Then another 10 mins walk to Amalfi, more a touristy but lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment is very comfortable ,well equipped , bed a little hard and creaky though. The best bit was the wonderful views from the terrace area. There are lots of steps to climb to the apartment but worth it. Also walking on the road can be a bit nerve racking bug you get used to it.
The Amalfi Coast is a beautiful area to visit and this apartment was a rally good spot to enjoy it.
I spent a week here and just loved it! It is a perfect spot for exploring the Amalfi Coast. I was so well taken care of by Emiliano & Carmen. Was given a wealth of information on the surrounding areas, bus schedules, places to shop and anything I had questions about. My only regret is that I wish the weather was better so I could have enjoyed the fantastic terrace more. Grazie Millie for an wonderful stay! Will be back.
Luogo incantevole, panorama mozzafiato. Casa sufficientemente attrezzata, davvero comoda soprattutto il garage dove lasciare la macchina. Abbiamo soggiornato per 10 giorni, persone cordiali e disponibili.
The apartment is conveniently located in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. Amalfi is within walking distance (1 km, 14 minutes on foot). Right next to Villa Cliff House, there is a bus stop to get to Ravello. Once there, don't miss the beautiful gardens of Villa Cimbrone (cartolina views!) and Villa Rufolo. From Amalfi, one can easily take a ferry to get to Positano. This pictoresque village is worldwide famous for being a V.I.P destination and for the handmade clothes (Moda Positano). Enjoy the stunning views of the Amalfi Coast from the sea. Take a 50 minutes ferry from Amalfi's dock and get to Capri. From the apartment, tours to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Sorrento start few times a week. A car is not necessary during your time at the Villa Cliff House, but in case you want it, we've a free garage on site for you!
