Luca was very helpful and a gracious host.
While we thought this hotel would be in a good location, it turned out to be perfect. The directions and guidelines provided by Luca were exact and made it very easy to find. Luca met us there and helped with our luggage, opened the apartment, showed us everything we needed to know. He answered all our questions and gave us tips for groceries, ATM, food, sites to visit, and numerous other items. The apartment was very large, safe, and decorated very nicely. While we didn't use the kitchen much, everything was available to us. The balcony overlooked a very busy street with the largest volume sandwich shop in Florence. Lines were amazingly long the entire time they were open. In some cases, the wait was over 2 hours. However, the noise was not heard in the apartment and wasn't bad with the balcony doors and windows open. Even with everything open, the sound did NOT carry to the back bedroom. Upon our departure, Luca arranged the taxi to pick us up and helped with our luggage. He was FANTASTIC as well as the apartment, weather, and visit. We will certainly return to this apartment. Thank you, Luca!
To begin with Luca is a great help from start to finish- after meeting him your feeling is you know him for years. The apartment is in such a great location-very short walk to Duomo, Uffizi Gallery,Palazzo Vecchio, etc. Also looking out from balcony the area is full of culture -street is lined with sandwich shops (#1 rated sandwich shop across the street with lines from open to close), cafes , good butcher next door, merchants on the corner selling goods and a supermarket in very close walking distance. The apartment itself is decorated nicely with pieces that are hundreds of yrs old that give that ancient historical feeling ( hand cut stone floor-wood beams thru out apartment). Apartment is very clean and furnished comfortably. I would highly recommend apartment and looking to return there in near future.. stayed August 18-23 2016 Jimmy
This apartment is perfectly located in the center of Florence. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Luca was delightful and met us on time, helped us get situated. We arrived by plane and needed cash for final payment - so Luca walked us to the ATM to get cash, super helpful. The sitting area is lovely and after a long day of seeing the sights, it was a perfect place to relax. Love the brick floors and wood ceilings. The only issue was the noise in the street below from the restaurant at night. It was mildly annoying (only for the front room) but I'd still stay here again because the location is just so perfect. Thanks for a great stay Luca.
The apartment is fully restored and furnished with lovely antique furniture. The bedroom, having windows on the street, is noisy at night, however all major museum are at walking distance. Luca, the property manager, was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay
This apartment is absolutely gorgeous - I couldn't get over how pretty and full of charm it is. My teen girls almost didn't want to go anywhere because it was so nice. Every piece of furniture and accessory was classy and beautiful. I even loved the corner cabinet in the kitchen. And LOVED the ceilings. I am glad I read the reviews about the bad smell on the stairs - that is true. We were prepared for it, so that helped. Also - yes - it is very noisy very late into the night. So if that can bother you, that is a problem. But the advantages are amazing - you're steps away from the Uffizi and Galileo museum. One of the most highly rated sandwich places on tripadvisor is just across the street. Excellent leather goods store right below. We shopped in Rome and all over Florence and ended buying a travel bag right here. Ponte Vecchio and Duomo are only a few minutes away. Location is just perfect and so is the apartment. Very roomy and open - A family of 5 can stay very comfortably. Even 6 should be fine. And Luca was very hospitable and very easy to plan with. He also arranged a very early taxi for us to get back to the airport. Highly recommend.
The apartment is situated in the historical heart of Florence and all the museums, art galleries and monuments are few minutes on foot.
There are also banks, post offices, an hospital, chemistries, supermarkets, shops, live theater and cinemas
